Idolmaster churns out a list of 37 hopefuls for the public to vote for. Receive vote. Pass 20. Shortly after, producers take additional wave of auditions and have a closed voting session. Bunch of those 20 up and vanish, with 7 people the producers chose coming in to create a roster of 19. Now with these 19, they've create two teams and have proceeded to create content which will be voted on through youtube. 5 of the weakest will be dropped. Meanwhile, additional auditions are taking place. I suspect through this system of theirs they'll eventually just phase out all the people they originally auditioned and suddenly have a roster of 10 at the end that no one actually had a say in. Like yes, auditions, call backs, and dropping people is the norm. Yeah, survival programs are a thing. But this isn't a survival program seeing as it isn't an aired process and not a thoroughly audience involved process. Also they're actively filming content which they'll probably use in the end product drama as showing the final roster doing all this training and surviving all these cuts. So Wings, Cocosori, half of The Ark, and one chick from The Seeya are in this meat grinder whose business practice is transparent only half of the time and they're creating content which they probably won't see a monetary benefit of or even a name credit because this is all an "audition" phase. MuBank doesn't seem fishy, just stupid, since they managed to screw up other numbers as well, which indicates it wasn't deliberate. Plus if you were going to do something fishy, you would do it on another figure that wasn't quite so easy to check by considering published sales information. | ||

Group that twerks together, stays together. - Without a single roster change, or drama that has broken to the media, up and forgot to put that last point. Rainbow is a timebomb imo, Jaekyung nail polishing Jisook's gundam figure is bound to cause some sort of fall out. | ||
