the screwjob was about a guy under contract not wanting to abide by that contract. If this was keyfabe and a work they wouldn't be doing it around something as explosively dividing over special treatment of a top guy. Naturally MCG is in the right here as him making a tweet just proves to be worlds better then months and months of media that dana white has him doing.
BUT what about all the other poor fighters that are told to do their media and keep their mouths shut? What if Kabib said that he wasn't going to do media or fight in places that openly discriminated against his faith? What if rousy doesn't want to do media?
this is a thing because its accepted that boxing declined because fighters were given too much control over the process and ufc is growing because dana white has control over the process. Hes not dumb enough to damage that narrative.

https://twitter.com/TheNotoriousMMA?ref_src=twsrc^tfw Going to be one of the biggest money grab of our time , it will be a boxing match and Connor will get humilated until he kicks Floyd in the face or something and get DQ`d , the fair thing will be 1 fight MMA 1 fight Boxing , but Floyd will die in the ring so i guess it wont happen......

Conor would be the ultimate shit poster.

I actually used to like Conor McGregor, but I decided that I no longer like him. All his little stunts were okay at first, coming off as a badass, but I think he now just comes off as desperate, craving for attention, just saying stupid shit that makes no sense just to get a reaction... It's too tiring, and he has nothing to show for it anymore.
I think he's damaging the sport of MMA, and he's just a little shit instead of whatever persona he's trying to convey. I think he was okay initially, but he's taking everything he's doing way too far. I think he is losing popularity, and losing popularity quickly.
He builds his popularity on his popularity, once people see him for what I'm seeing him for, the self-fulfilling prophecy will continue, and people just wont care about him anymore.

I agree. His craving for attention is so blatantly obvious that it hurts.

And when your schtick is that you are the greatest of all time and blah blah, It hurts your credibility when you lose to a top 5/10 guy who fights at only 10 pounds above you. I think a lot of people also think he is dodging Edgar. I think he has two more big money fights, Diaz rematch and back at featherweight, But when he loses both of those his PPV numbers will drop and he will become pretty average. Lets not forget he is giant for FW and has always had trouble making that weight. He's not climbing divisions because he's super brave, he's doing it because he can't make feather weight without nearly killing himself any more.
It really makes Frankie impressive. He won the LW title and defended it numerous times, never gets stopped and is always the smaller guy. He even looks small in FW. From what I've read he could easily make BW. I could see him being the first 3 division champ if MgGoat can still make the cut back down and lose.
Well i don't like McG that much , but the guy KO the #1 P4P in one punch , lucky ? maybe , but he did it and since that day i don't underestimate him , he got my respect for that KO , would he lose a rematch ? probably , Diaz did end his hype no doubt as the best ever blaba blabla , but McG can still put on a show and punch ppl out.

Now being #50 or whatever p4p is still pretty damn good it is just not #1. If he can keep making weight at FW I see him being top 3-5 in that div at all times, if he cant' he will prob be top 10 in lw. The prob at Lw is all the wrestlers, I mean diaz gets throne around at lw and he made connor look like amateur hour on the ground.
There are tons of great fights for him though if he is matched up against the other bangers like cerone and shit. I'm not saying his career is done or anything like that, just that it's hard to keep the greatest of all time talk and unbeatable talk as you get more and more exposed.
That being said if he has the ability to get a ground game or a take down defense like Liddle ended up with he could still be a force for a while. The guy is must see TV. You can either cheer for him or cheer for him to lose but you know it will be an exciting fight.
Agreed , no doubt he is must see TV , I still remember holding my pizza gaping on that 3 seconds KO , but as you said he got exposed no doubt.
