Btw, I'm in high school and because math is in my last period and other people were getting ready to leave, I just sat down in my desk and overheard them.

You could always ask one of them why they got to retake the test if you're chill with them i guess...

also, how bad was your score? i know some teachers that have a cutoff score for people who want to retake it. So if the cutoff was a 75 and you got a 77, while they got 60's, they get to retake but you can't. There's a lot of other stuff, too, depending on the teacher. Like if they retake it, they can't get higher than, say, an 80 or 75. Find out from the teacher her test retaking policies, and it'll let you make a better decision on how to go about this.

I dunno, I always got the impression that Eschels played favorites a bit. Not to the point where it was really unfair, but it was definitely noticeable. If these students are ones that she knows well, chances are her reasoning will simply be that she feels they work very hard and that they deserve to have a second chance to reflect their intelligence. She has a lot of pull around there too, as I'm sure you're aware, so even if you are in the right I doubt much will happen. She can always justify her actions by saying that if you're not willing to try hard in her class, then you don't deserve a second chance. No ones really gonna contest that with her.
