I took the ACT for the first time

Yes, the test itself wasn't going to count toward anything at all, it was just a practice one given by my school, so if I did bad, it wouldn't go down in your record or anything. I didn't study thiking I had the test in a bag and for the above reason. Man was I wrong about it being too easy. Turned out I did bad, screwed up the english portion, the science portion and the essay writing part, (I didn't finish the essay or the english one). It was sort of a frustrating experience, I am worried about my score even though its just practice one and is not going to count toward anything.

Oh and everyone in my school had to take a practice one, a planned test (a pre-pre ACT test), or the actual one because of "No child left behind".

I thought I did horrible on the ACT and ended up getting a really good score, anything 24+ is admirable and its not so closely looked at if you have SAT scores as well.
