Out of the 6 tournaments he got points from, he got 2nd place in half of them. Byul had a slow start at the beginning of WCS 2015. He started off at 10.64% not being qualified for the Hot6ix Cup and not yet in peak form. His first match for WCS Points on December 26th, he lost to Super in SSL Challenge, earning him no points and bringing him down to 2.01% with him also not being qualified for GSL. He didn't do anything else until he qualified for GSL Season 2 going from 1.38% up to 2.76% on March 4th. Then on March 26th he qualified for SSL S2 going up again to 6.42%. His next WCS match wasn't until April 2nd when he beat YongHwa in GSL Code A Season 2, bringing him from 7.59% up to 10.71%. Then, despite the unlucky draw, he beat Innovation in SSL S2 Challenge 3-2, bringing him up to 16.08%. And the very next day he beat Innovation 2-0 to qualify for KeSPA Cup 1 bringing him up further to 21.84%. Byul had a busy week from May 3rd to the 8th. He beat Maru and Myungsik in KeSPA Cup 1, and lost to herO in the semifinals, putting Byul at 25.87%. Then he beat Trap and Life in his SSL S2 ro16 group, going up to 48.62%. And to finish the week, in his GSL ro32 group he lost to Maru, and then beat Liquid HerO (I had to do a double take!) and TY, going up to 59.41% and 1375 WCS Points. + Show Spoiler [Byul vs Trap] + Unfortunately this was the only highlight video I could find for Byul. On May 28th, Byul lost to Classic in the SSL S2 quarterfinals, dropping way down to 38.74%. June 3rd in the GSL S2 ro16, Byul lost to Curious, beat Dream, and then beat herO, going up to 54.36%. Then Byul went through the playoffs, beating Parting going up to 72.13%, then beating sOs going up to 88.44%. In the GSL S2 finals on June 28th, against Rain, Byul lost 4-1, dropping down to 77.1% with 2375 WCS Points with his first 2nd place of the year. Starting off July, Byul beat Shine in SSL S3 Challenge, going up to 91.74%. Then in KeSPA Cup 2 he beat Pigbaby and lost to Dark for an 8th place, putting Nyul at 92.77% and 2875 WCS Points. Back to SSL S3 in the ro16, Byul beat Stats and Zest, bringing him up to 98.27%. In August, Byul won his GSL S3 ro32 group, beating Sleep, losing to Dear, and then beating Fantasy, going up to 99.97% and 3375 WCS Points. Then he again beat Innovation, in the SSL S3 quarterfinals with a 3-2 score. This made Byul the 12th player to reach 99.99% and put him at 3675 WCS Points. On September 3rd, Byul beat TY in the SSL S3 semifinals, locking in his 100% and going up to 4025 WCS Points. In GSL S3, Byul beat Zest and Solar to advance from the ro16, and then beat Gumiho in the quarterfinals, going up to 4625 WCS Points. On September 20th, Byul again lost in the finals, this time to teammate herO in the SSL S3 finals. In the GSL semifinals, Byul beat Dear to pull off the miracle triple starleague finals, double finals in the same season, going up to his final 4975 WCS Points. Then of course, on October 4th, Byul lost to Innovation in the GSL S3 finals. If Byul had beaten Innovation in that finals, then he'd have the #4 seed with 5725 WCS Points and be facing Lilbow instead of Classic. + Show Spoiler [Timeline] + November 2014 - From 10.64% to 8.55%, 0 WCS Points to 0, 750 Median Points to 875 Chances November Points November (the blue line is WCS Points, the black line is median WCS Points) Nov 17 - Biggest surprise failures of this WCS year #1 Flash started at 42.79%. His highest point in season 1 was 50.06% on November 19th. In season 2 it was 4.42% on April 10th. In season 3 it was 0.66% on July 25th. God, how could you fuck up that bad. LotV will break game even more, no more UItimate Weapon hype, he missed his last hooray. -_- | ||
