What is this ?

A Starcraft Broodwar Tournament to Honour the map Neo_Jade.

Swiss system Bracket 10 Rounds
Grand Finals First to Fourth Place (1-4)

How does it work:

The Swiss system is a style that matches players who obtain similar results throughout the Tournament. Every round is variable and it depends on your result and the result of others to determinate who will you play next round. It is also possible you will be playing the same person several times.

Each round,#1 playes #2 , #3 playes #4 , #5 playes #6 and so on until the end.

For this Tour, 2 games will be played each round.

In case of tied score, places in the bracket will be determined by :

1) Direct confrontation
2) Max Rank
3) coin flip

the results of round 2 are as follows :

The ranking for Round 2 is as follows :
Sea 3
Piano 3
Flisk 3
Shuttle 2
Killer 1
Nada 0

Round 3 will be as follows :
Sea vs Piano
Flisk vs Shuttle
Killer vs Nada

and so on and so forth...

At the end of the 10 weeks, the first 4 paced players will advance and play in the Grand Finals

Post-ponements are allowed. Games have to be played up to 24 hours before the next round. Post in the thread and pm your opponent if you require a post-ponement.
In the event of lag or disconnect, rematch. If it proves impossible to play, players will be given 1-1 score.
Random is allowed.
Players are allowed to change race between each week and even each game
In the event of a week having an uneven number of players, the last player of the bracket will play no games and will be automatically given a 2-0 win score.
If you are more than 20 minutes late without warning at least 1 hour before, the player you are supposed to play decides whether to play, post pone or take a walk-over
Players newly joined will be posted with each other if 2 or more players sign up that week. In the event that there is 1, or 3, or 5, etc. the player will be matched against the exact middle player of the bracket. So if there is 20 players, and only you join that week, you will be put at #11 for matchup pourposes.
Walk-overs will result in 2-0 score.
Observing, if both players agree, and streaming are allowed.
Standard iCCup in game rules apply. You must have antihack.
Players will be matched up in the first round based on their score points from the following: x+z/2 . x=new ranking points ; z=old ranking points. For the old ranking, if you don' t know or remember points, half will be used. i.e. C- 3500
If you willingly and with intentions lie about your rank, you will be banned from the tour.
If you trow games, loose on porpouse, not show up on porpouse, to benefit another player during the tour, you will be banned from the tour. Be fair.
Any other situation that arises will be dealt with case by case.

Admin & replay master : Another admin is needed. A replay master (a person to sort ,post and send replays to the caster) is needed.
Casting : A caster is needed for this event. If you are willing to cast you are welcome to at any time during the tour.

Grand Finals will be First place vs second place ; Third place vs fourth place ;

In case of a tie happening in the last round, a BO3 will be played to determinate who advances to the grand finals. Maps Jade, Toadstone, Hazard black.

If a player forfeits his placement, the next runner up will take his place

I'll write extensive wiki entries/updates on the new maps next week (no time before that).
For now, just some raw technical data:

Hazard Black:
- backdoor and centre expansions have 2000g + 6x1248m each
other resources are standard
- natural backdoor is blocked by 4 eggs with scarab gaps (i.e. Reavers can shoot past them), 16x0m stack is visible from low ground for worker glitching

Heartbeat:
- islands have 2000g + 6x1250m
- neutral expos have 3000g
other resources are standard

Quintessence:
- central expansion has 2x2000g + (8x744+6x496)m
other resources are standard
- backdoors to mineral only expansions are blocked by 8x stacked Power Generators (800hp, repairable) with Scarab gaps and have two 4x0m stacks to allow unit glitching.

This is so awesome! I hope this tour will help community to recognize foreign maps and they will start to use them instead of looping again and again korean maps from past. Fix "Demain" to "Demian" so Hermann Hesse won't be ashamed : )

Let me know if theres any mistakes.

Also i encourage players with low ranks to sign up. If you check out the ranking system you will play most likely vs a player of your same skillz.
