just some thoughts...
AoC Vs WH
WH seems more WOWish with more basic combat mechanics
AoC seems more realistic, graphic-wise, and combat that focuses on things like combos, stances, direction (armour efficiency, shield blocking)
WH comes out in like 5 months?
AoC + features
good character customisation (like vanguard).
(12 classes)
open crafting system (you don´t need to specialise)
targets "mature" audience (blood, finishing moves ie decapitations)
pk-focused
open race (you can ally anyone unlike WH. guilds can ally and direct points to an individual guild if need be. AOE still hurts allied guilds tho which will make things interesting/messy)
combat mechanics include direction, dodging, knockbacks and combos/stances

AoC - features
regional servers will be based on where you buy the game from. europeans will be cut off from americans.
no flying mounts due to "realism"
no archer mounts due to balance issues
attacks look weird to me because i´ve been playing heavy knockback MMOs. in AoC your normal attacks involve your sword and arm swinging right through the opponent, with a splash of blood and no knockback affect whatsoever.
special edition packages vary hugely so make sure you get one with all the features. apparently one of the features is a unique xp-increase ring which sounds reeeeally dodgy.
you can only play on european servers if you buy a european copy of the game. europeans will be completely cut off from american players. what will you do?
(they will consider separate servers for AUS etc after launch)
