Hey,
I'm thinking about getting a XbOx 360 Premium Edition, but I'm not too sure about getting it with NME 2.0 Modship or without. Burning XbOx 360 games seems to be a pain in the ass with copying the SS (Security Sector) and merging it with the actual ISO etc...
What do you guys think , is it worth to spend 50Euro more to get it with NME2.0 or should I stick with the standard version?

That's why u don't burn 360 games, you download them. It's really easy, piratebay is your friend

With a modded Xbox you'll get yourself banned on Live sooner or later, but if you aren't too interested in the XBL features then I see no reason not to mod if you know how to get burned games and know how to use them.
I wouldn't myself do it as I love playing through XBL

Actually NME 2.0 can disable rear USB port and Network Port so you cannot get banned. Also I won't go online with a backup game :p ... hmm ^^

Ehh ps3 would be a better investment for you

the only reason i would get a xb360 or ps3 is for soul calibur 4

get it with firmware flash; modchips suck

Don't ever put your 360 online if you value your live connectivity.

Not at all. The PS3 is an overpriced piece of shit. There are no good games for it right now, and the exclusives it's getting hardly make it a better investment. The games that are on both systems run so much smoother on the 360, it's unbelievable. Unless you're into HD Movies, because that's all it is, a Bluray player that happens to play video games.
I wouldn't mod mine, but I don't steal games, either. I don't care if you think it's stealing or not, I just don't do it, so I don't see the necessity for a modchip.
My friend has his modded, and aside from being banned from XBL he hasn't had problems. If you're willing to go through the trouble of burning games (which is probably more cost efficient than paying $60 USD per game) then go with the modchip. Be careful about going on XBL with it, though.

I use GameFly as an alternative to piracy on my 360. Not that I care that much about piracy, I just prefer to keep my console alive and happy on Xbox live.

Buy the system with the games you like. Better yet, buy both.

agreed ps3 is as good or better than 360 in like all the aspects you say it is worse.
*edit* but ya buying both is the best option

Please don't make this thread a Ps3 vs Xbox 360 thread. I'd prefer a Ps3 but there's just no way I can buy it.. its so expensive here-_- You have no clue how cheap its in the US .. for you guys...
A game like SweeTLemonS[TPR] costs about 60$ .. for us its nearly 100$ / game ..-_- which is, you will agree just overpriced. A firmware flash you suggest? So I should by a Samsung DVD-Rom with Kreon Flash + Firmware Flash + DVD Pioneer 112d burner?
