Your mind is too clouded to think clearly, and the only thing in your mind is just getting out of there. You keep walking forward, trying to look for the exit.
On your way out, you see a vending machine. You’re thirsty as hell and your head hurts so bad, you need to take the aspirins right now. It’s a pity you have no pennies left, but that’s no problem as you break the machine, pushing it and letting it fall to the ground. You grab a soda and proceed to drink the aspirins. When you’re done, you feel exhausted enough not to continue. So you lay down and close your eyes for a quick moment.
You’re suddenly awakened by the scream of a zombie. He is rushing at you. With panic, you draw your gun forth and fire a shot at the zombie’s chest. The bullet hits the target and breaks his momentum, but when you try to fire another time, you notice the gun has run out of ammo.
Now you’ve got to run. Adrenaline pumps you up for a quick moment and you stand up as soon as you can, and proceed to run towards the exit. The zombie tries to grab you but he is unsuccessful. But that doesn’t stop him from chasing you. Just when you are about to reach the exit your legs fail you, and you fall in the floor. The zombie is just right behind you, but you’re able to dodge him when he jumps at you. You rise and cross the exit door, and block it with whatever you find.
You’re safe for a few moments now. You’re fucked up as the doc is inside the clinic and it’s dangerous to go back inside, so no blood analysis for you now. There’s nothing you can do now, so you proceed to go to any store to grab supplies for the party. You drive around until you find the nearest store. There’s nobody inside, so you’re free to grab anything.
You load about 3 bags full of supplies, and bring them to the car. Just when you’re about to get into the car, you’re grabbed by the arm and pulled back. A zombie is about to kill you, and when his bite is about to reach your neck, his brains are blown out.
A man with a sniper rifle is standing some feet away. You’re stunned though. He approaches you with a friendly smile, and offers you a hand. He looks at you and notices your purple drowsy eyes. Also, he asks you if you’re ok. You nod with your head, but explain that you’ve been bitten already by one of those monstrosities, and you need a cure. He’s sorry; he tells you that there is no cure he knows for zombification. But there is a temporal fix: stimulants.
He explains that one of his friends was a coke addict, and he was bitten. He was not turned until he run out of coke. Also it seems logical as well because when you’re about to turn into a zombie, you start having the symptoms you have at the moment; headache, drowsiness, and start turning purple. But since you were bitten, you have not yet turned, with reason; you’ve drunk a cup of concentrated coffee, and now aspirins and soda. That’s what is keeping you alive.
You tell him that you were going to take the supplies in your car to your friend Alma. She lives in the outskirt of the city and her house is pretty much clean from zombies. You invite him to join you, as he might prove useful. He’s got a gun and has good aim. He could help you protect you people.
You feel sad though. If there is no apparent cure, then you’re pretty much fucked. You regret so much going to the police station. You’ll have to be on drugs just to keep you alive, so no sleep for you. This is going to be really shitty.
Now you’ve got to drive around searching for drugs. You and your friend now drive towards the pharmacy, trying to grab w/e helps to your current state. After you’re done, you head towards Alma’s.
As you head to the outskirts of the city, you notice a significant raise in the number of zombies. A few hours ago, the road looked clean as you got farther from the city core. Now it’s just looking quite the same. That is bad news: the epidemic will sooner or later reach Alma’s house. You’ll need to fortify it much tougher that you were originally thinking.
When you reach your destination, you park outside the house. The doors are open, strange. But while you unload the cargo, you hear a girly scream. No shit, Alma is in trouble.
You and the sniper drop what you were carrying, and enter the house in a rush. Rodrigo is struggling with a zombie, and Alma is being chased by another. You rush to Alma, and knock the zombie to the floor. The sniper draws a gun and shoots the zombie that is fighting with Rodrigo. 1 out, 1 left.
You curb stomp the zombie you knocked. Alma looks horrified. However, trouble is not over yet. More zombies seem to be pouring into the house; at least, that’s your impression.
You hear Rodrigo screaming for help. You tell Alma to lock herself into a room in the upper part of the house until the danger is over. You rush to Rodrigo, and you see your sniper friend overrun by zombies. He’s lying on the floor, dead, with zombies munching his flesh. Rodrigo is firing at the incoming zombies. Things are getting terribly nasty. To lure the danger away, you can try baiting the zombies with yourself, and driving them out of the house, leaving Rodrigo alone to kill the zombies around your fallen friend, and closing the door after the zombies chase you. But it might as well be your death sentence.
You could also try retreating to the upper part of the house, and block the stairs up, and think later of your options. You risk being trapped for a while, and without your drugs you won’t last long until you become a zombie yourself.
