Hey everyone..
I'm playing copycat and steal NonY's blog.. I'd like to offer you the "Terran version" of theorycrafting me. I think I'm not too bad and I'm a little bored.. I always like to be creative, but unfortunately I cannot play Protoss as all which would help me alot with being creative.
So.. I don't want that standard FE all game over and over again... You can make suggestions about strategies that you want me to play and I'll try them vs decent gamers!
No matter how crazy the strategy might be, tell me if you want to know how would work out, post it here! I'll post replays :-)!

Bunker rush + scvs so he pulls probes, but instead of marines quick tech to firebats and just kill all his probes (TvP obv.)
Or just mass firebats for lulz?

So in your opinion I should use some build like:
9/10 Depot 10/10 Barracks 12/18 Barracks 14/18 Gas 14/18 Academy
Scan opponents base + go with everything I got?
My thoughts on this:
You won't stand a chance vs a decent protoss, because it takes way to much time to tech to firebats which makes this strategy worse than the usual dual 8 Barracks Bunkerrush which I do from time to time (vs P). If you usually play M&M the protoss go about 4 dragoons, adding two more while you are on the way. So I would call this strategy "M&MF" - Rush more than a "rush", because its too late for being a rush. I'll try to rush a Protoss on Nemesis with this strategy (skipping my 14CC) because alot of protoss use 14 Nexus on Nemesis. I think about doing 8/10 Barracks 9/10 Depot 11/18 Gas 11/18 Academy with a bit of scv-build-stop in there.. Will be pretty hard, though.

That means - No Tank, No Factory Units, Just good ol upgraded Merines and Cattlebruisers. Yamato fancy too.

Start off with Casy's nuke sunken break build, when you have enough resources, get valkyrie and use them like corsairs for your ghosts. And use the nukes to force lurkers from positions, etc.
edit: and after you nuke a couple times, nuke in a random place that won't hurt anyone to mess with your opponent's mind right before you attack is good (he'll be looking at his expansions for red dots as you attack).

Thanks alot for the really indept analysis of this, as to be honest I hadn't thought that much into it. I know that it takes a while to get firebats going, and you couldn't really bunker and make him pull probes to defend that late, but like you said on a map where 14 Nexus is common, it would be really neat to see someone punished. What do you think about stim timing, would it be done by the time you get there or how long would you have to delay? How many fire bats before you'd move out? Would you bring scvs?

I'd like to have 4 marines, 4 firebats and 2 medics. I would also bring 8-12 scvs to force the goons to retreat (just a psychologycal thing: If he sees you bring scvs and probably send the marines with medics first, he thinks MM is coming and retreats his goons + gets probes to defend, but if he sees you're sending also firebats he will probably try to defend with goons only) and also to keep them on distance.
I think stimpack will be finished while I reach him.

I'll try this tonight. Ghost/Valkyrie sounds great, but I'll mix M&M, because Ghosts deal to less damage.

Python 2fact 5port tank/wraith with later drops Open with 12/12 and gogo 5 tanks then port, exp to island get 3rd gas and mass wraiths with cloak ~ Shoot obs down with scan and rape face with cloak.

Wraith/Tank sounds alot of win, I tried 2 Port wraith-obs snipe alot of times, but you need a damage dealer vs cannons ! I think I'll play Fast expansion into 3 Factories and 3 Ports.

I'm playing B+ - A+ players.. and I'll get slaughtered I guess.

Try the style where you are hyper aware of observers and you eliminate all in your base, then make a perimeter of turrets to keep him out, and then make 5-6 rax simultaneously and go for a timing MM + 2 fac or even 1 fac tanks push (off 1 fac siege expo). Of course very map dependent. First time I saw it done well was on Forte by Sea.Shine vs....Best[Hyo]? Ofc Forte is a good map for it though with it's big buildable and easier to hide-ish area around the nat

I've done this before, it works pretty well if not scouted :-)!

Gotta use this one with good judgement, but recently in TvZ, there's been the pure muta -> mass expand or hive tech, and if the Z has goood micro, then Terran gets way behind or ends up gging eventually. So instead of the usual tech to vessel/irradiate as fast as possible, what if you could try sprinkling in some valks instead. of course, like I said, you're going to have to use good judgement on whether or not this is as viable as vessels in the particular game, but here's a game (Jaedong vs. Flash on blue storm) where I thought 2 or 3 valks would've done a world of hurt against the Z. Flash vs. JD

(VS Z) 1 Rine FE -> rush many Medics and Flare -> Flare all Mutas and move out. (VS Z) Factory -> 1 Vulture harass -> 2 port Wraith -> 4 Vulture drop with Mines -> expand. (VS P) 2 Fact Tanks only, building up minerals -> push to natural while SCVs sneak behind and wall his ramp shut -> mass Turrets while you kill his natural -> expand. (VS P) 1 Fact FE -> 1 Fact, 1 Port, 6 Barracks -> Vessels, Tanks and Marines/Medics only -> Irradiate on Templar / Zealots, Emp on Dragoons.
Don't really have any more but I'm sure I could make something else up if need be.
