Pretty much agree, though i'd swap SKT and JAGW spots. Sure they are. The performance of their four key players has mostly declined since their Proleague win. Zest has been struggling a lot recently, and Flash and Stats's performance has been so and so, recently missing out on GSL. TY is still going strong. I don't think KT with Zest playing at only this level can make it, at least for the first round.
KT won first round of PL last year with Zest and Stats still being mediocre Protosses nobody rated highly. Nobody having any individual league success beforehand either. Don't sweat it, they got this!

Jin Air looking so strong to me, fortunately the Bo5 formats favours KT over Bo7

Sorry stich.but you're an idiot

I agree with your placement of Samsung given the form their players have exhibited recently, but in my heart of hearts I hope they can win. It is certainly possible if Dear resurges to a similar level as he was in his peak and Journey I feel is a great player who just hasn't had his breakout performance yet. I don't know, but I can sure as hell hope!
Also Solar did say Dear was a top 5 toss on his last stream which was a week or so ago iirc, but I don't know if that was just his trademark politeness talking.

Gotta say its just politeness. Dear hasn't achieved anything in quite some time. I'd love for him to get back to his beast mode but atm he's nowhere close to top 5.

It probably is considering Solar is a nice guy, but don't forget they're also on the same team and practice with each other. Solar should also have a good grasp on who's good considering he plays like...everybody, with how many tournaments he's in.

Jin Air only rank 3 and no mention of Rogue, no way.

Good point. Dear could well be tearing it up in-house. We'll find out soon enough :D

Finally someone giving KT the RESPECT they deserve.

When was this written? Flash showing great form recently? :D Not this month, but before that he won IEM Toronto and got second at HSC X. And? Those are micky mouse tournaments compared to GSL/SSL for which he either doesn't qualify or regularly bombs out, ro16 latest. He lost 2-1 to soO, drg in the last ro16. I wouldn't call that bombing out. He went 10-0 in games in the first round of GSL WC but then lost to maru and didn't qualify for the main event. Conclusion: Super bad player, flash
Flawless conclusion cant argue with facts.

It's sad that they're playing Bo5 instead of Bo7. I'd welcome an upgrade.

Definitely would be cool for some series, but with teams like Prime, it would just be a joke. The top 4 Kespa teams would just absolutely annihilate the other 4 teams since they will always have the strongest 7-person-team. So, in order to accommodate the lesser teams a bit, I think they went with Bo5.

Today ended in two ace matches, and it ended at 11:30pm korean time. If it was BO7 format they'd have to split them out double the days, or start earlier. Splitting them up would cost way more for production and if they started earlier I imagine it would be bad for the average viewer. A proleague broadcast already lasts a long time.
Theres just very little benefit to making it BO7's.

They could bring the 2v2 back. That would spice things up.

Or Archon Mode for LOTV, that would be unique. But then Proleague wouldn't be about best Teams in 1v1 anymore.

If i could dream: bo7: 1v1 2v2 1v1 1v1 Archon mode 2v2 1v1
Ace: 1v1 4 player each side in archon mode.

I see MVP getting top 4 this proleague. Choya's players are already showing a lot of improvement and HerO seems to be over his PvZ slump from what I saw on his stream. Plus Taeja could have an impact and MKP is destroying people left and right
