Hmm, I've quite skeptical about putting SKT T1 above Jin Air, and I'm not 100% sold on KT number one, just because their players have had some troubling results lately (Zest missing SSL/GSL qualifications, Flash getting DESTROYED by Life, and Stats still not doing much - beat ByuL to qual for SSL but lost to Penguin, lol, in GSL qual). Now, I know you can be good in teamleague without individual results, it's just not a good sign for them, and they don't really have anyone comparable on the bench. They're particularly weak in the Zerg department.

Also, I'm gonna have to become a ST fan or something (ugh) if people keep rating them so low... I think they're stronger than IM was last season, and IM wasn't awful (they weren't particularly good, either, but...yeah...)

I definitely think CJ are going to be more than the sum of their parts. In terms of comparing roster to roster, they don't match up too well, but Coach Park will elevate them. They were only one ace match away from the finals (that herO really, really could have won if Rain hadn't clutched so hard).

Hoping for CJ win; expecting SKT

When was this written? Flash showing great form recently? :D

Not this month, but before that he won IEM Toronto and got second at HSC X.

And? Those are micky mouse tournaments compared to GSL/SSL for which he either doesn't qualify or regularly bombs out, ro16 latest.

None of that really matters when Flash had lackluster individual results but still got ~40 wins (most) in 2013 and ~25 wins (top five) in 2014

Well, he does get fielded basically every game just because he's Flash and his Brood War history...

And he wins most of his games rofl...

You're acting like he gets his starting spot because of his fame when he actually gets it because he wins

Ignore that dude, all he does is try and shit on certain players. Mostly Zest and Rain, but Flash too I guess

Pretty safe picks, I think you're underestimating MVP though. They are pretty legit.

Reigning champs so overrated. Don't be mad!

Pretty much agree, though i'd swap SKT and JAGW spots.

Sure they are. The performance of their four key players has mostly declined since their Proleague win. Zest has been struggling a lot recently, and Flash and Stats's performance has been so and so, recently missing out on GSL. TY is still going strong. I don't think KT with Zest playing at only this level can make it, at least for the first round.

Loss of hoejia is big. Not too sure about ryu won. When you look at last season's finals, KT out-strategize SKT1. Almost every game was build order advantage for KT. And during their semis match, hoejia again managed to beat ryu won in strategies, even though in terms of team strength they are pretty equal.

A lot of people are jumping on the JAGW bandwagon. A deep squad means nothing, only 4 players get to play. Remember SKT? There's no use of having a GSL champion Classic in the bench and not playing. The only thing that could really hurt KT is if there are suddenly lots of Zerg favored maps (not sure if such a thing exist, Daedalus was only Zerg favored in zvp). For last season, zest was the best player in Korea. But flash still got more wins in Proleague despite being horrible in individual league. TY is looking more consistent now and given how the current balance favors terran, the 1-2 terran punch of Flash and Ty is by far the strongest in the league. Coupled with Zest, it's hard to not rank KT as number 1.

And he has a 23-16 record, 60% win rate last season, 44-21 (68%) in 2012-13 season, which dumbass coach would not field him every game?

I just hope we see more of Dream. I'd love to see him in place of players like soO and Classic and Dark every so often. He clearly has a great TvZ (looking at SSL match against Solar).
