But that doesnt change fact that it is weird In the case of mYi, I think you're looking for weird where there is none. Unlike teams like Eclypsia and Team whatever-the-fuck mYi has a good track record of stability and no history of controversy or drama. They didn't pick up Rain when they were the new kids on the block, they went with the small-time players that were allowed to grow on their roster. This sets them apart from a team like Invasion eSports that just happen to pick up players with no information available anywhere. Naturally, a healthy dose of scepticism is good but since we don't know anything about the state of mYi or their sponsors I think you should be asking them, not TL
And don't go judging before you have any grounds for that scepticism. Benefit of the doubt, anyone? It seems pretty rare on TL... : /

Bison, their main sponsor, looks like a pretty big and legit company, and since they sponsor an obscure singer-songwriter and the "next generation of ice hockey players", I don't really see how sponsoring an eSports team is weird. And I mean companies like SKT, Korean Air, Jin Air, CJ, Red Bull, etc aren't related to eSports, which doesn't prevent them to sponsor big teams/events.

Unexpected... Nice pickup for mYi

While what you say is undisputedly true, I wouldn't put Classic in a Protoss top 3. I mean, MMA got in the finals and won last WCS EU, but would you put him clearly above Taeja/INno/Flash/Bomber ?

This is an understatement. Rain is the best player on the planet. Hopefully being on a foreign team won't stop him from being the best .

You know very well, especially with the way mirrors work, that A beats B does not necessarily mean that A is a more solid player than B overall.

Wow mYi so strong
With Innovation gone and mYi and yFw getting strong Acer will probably lose their own tournament for the first time

Don't worry I agree with your Protoss top 3, I was just joking d: (Classic is still underrated in general though. He's probably the fourth/fifth best P in the world right now). And yes I would put MMA above Flash and INno any day, but I may be slightly biased (;

But I never said that it is shady, just weird from finance perspective If I had to pick favorite I would pick mYi over everyteam in esport.

Classic is most definitely underrated. I'm glad he put up a great fight at Blizzcon because it's true his GSL victory at the pinnacle of Protoss domination followed by a swift elimination at the hands of Shine and EffOrt didn't serve his cause !

mYi has become such a stacked team - assuming the ATC comes back for S4, there will be a lot of stacked teams:
mYi, YoeFW (with Parting), etc.
