But there is just a money problem. The foreign teams have not enough money to get all these korean players who want to join a team outside of Korea/KeSPA. I can understand the wish to join a team outside of korea, many "foreign korean" streamers have told the ups and downs of the decision. Mostly its about the problem you lose all your social life in a strong korean team. Its eat, train, sleep repeat. Balloon told the difference between startale and mYi, he had to be a robot in his startale time, but now ( in the mYi time ) he could do more then starcraft. And startale wasnt even a SPL team. But on the money side... while ( now after Prime has a new sponsor ) all SPL teams can pay their players money and not only the free stay at their house, some foreign teams still do not pay their players. Most other foreign teams cant afford a good korean player at the moment without investing alot more. EG does focus on JaeDong and thats it, Liquid, mYi, YoeFW and Axiom have very strong roasters for a foreigner team. Root has investet alot past month, i dont think they can afford more. Smaller teams just cannot afford more atm. Only GEM ( agency, not a team ) could contract more players and the recent established TCM ( Team cooler master ). But when TCM merges with CMS ( Cooler Master Strom ) there wount be much space either. Harsh times, more and more players getting on a high level, but there is not enough money for all of them. And for the pigbaby problem: He does not stream, despite his run and win of WCS AM he is very unknown to most people ( non TL Elite blablah ) and so its hard to get a return of investment with him.

They see the likes of MC and Jaedong jetting around the world for easy money. Rather than staying in the small confines of the team house in Korea with rarely a chance at recognition.
