I had a bit of a strange dream last night.

it was quite 'long' but I forgot most of it by now but the one part I remember was this:
It felt like I was living goa, also known as psychedelic trance, and I was floating through the sky with my bodyparts moving and pulsating according to the music.
Then, the climax of the song came and I splashed into a grotto filled with mass water, which went really deep. The water was really pure though and I didnt have a feeling of drowning or anything. If anything, this actually gave me an extremely nice feeling. Sortof like the water was embracing me while I kept hearing the climax of the song. By hearing I also mean it was like all around me. Everything was really bright too.
I also remember I just kept sinking deeper and deeper and eventually I woke up or dreamt something else, not sure.

I sortof feel like I wanna have this dream again because the feeling I got from it was so great. Anyone else ever have that? I'm pretty sure I'll have forgotten what it was like tomorrow though

I like to write down my dreams, usually only the good/interesting ones. My psychology teacher told me that many people find it therapeutic to write them down and read over them later, especially the pleasant ones that you have that feeling of "wanting to be there again" for.

He also said that people have had some success with meditation before sleep, and then focusing only on the previous dream. That way they manage to almost pre-set what direction their dream will go in. It's never really worked for me, but I never tried that hard either. Just a thought.

I sometimes get dreams about the things I thought of before going to sleep, unless I was trying to forget them.

I was assisting a group of scientists in performing a behavioral experiment. We would pick up a large, thin sheet of translucent rainbow-colored material by its edges and follow a cat around the room with it. When the cat stopped, we held the sheet of material just above it. The material would then melt onto the floor around the cat, and the multi-colored droplets on the floor would then start to arrange themselves into a symmetrical pattern, like a giant snowflake. The cat would watch the pattern taking shape, and would then use its paws to help complete the design, pushing the droplets along to their final positions before they solidified. When the pattern was complete, we would pick up the new solid sheet of material, the cat would begin to wander, and we would follow it around until it stopped. Then we would hold the sheet over the cat, the sheet would melt, and the cycle would repeat.

Eventually the cat grew tired of the game, and refused to stay under the sheet. “Looks like the jig is up,” I said.
