Welcome to joinDOTA Masters, where eight world class teams per round are invited to compete for a winner takes all prize pool of 500 EUR. These are short intense tournaments, designed to bring out the best of the competitve teams of Dota 2 and show it off to you, the community.

All matches of JoinDOTA Masters will be broadcast live by your favorite Dota 2 commentator Toby 'Tobi-Wan Kenobi' Dawson.
This isn't the big epic thing I was expecting like The Defense 2, but its still great for the long run and will be interesting to tune in to weekly.

Personally, I like joinDOTAs approach a lot...
It has the advantages of basically eliminating the ping factor and all games are being played within the same patch. Of course it might lack the epicness of a larger tournament like the Defense or Dota2 Invitational, but it's definately worth to give this format a try!

I think we should use this as our LR thread aswell, combined with results etc if you are up to the task, if not it will definitely clutter the General Discussion thread.

Isn't every bracket a stand alone mini tournament completelly unrelated to the other brackets? I guess some teams just were avaible more often/were invited again.

I really think a lot of you can't read how the tournement is going to be done. It acutally makes me sad inside.
