Discussing the show and past episodes is fine. Do not put things that have happened in the TV series in spoilers. However, don't spoil things from the books that may happen in future episodes. Put book spoilers in spoiler tags with a CLEAR WARNING that it is from the book.

My inner postapocalyptic nerd got his share of chills when the music started at the beggining. Slow episode like all of them lately, but I did like it.

So why was the crazy girl crazy? What was she trying to "show" Carol? That the zombos weren't bad and could be their friends?!

Also, for some reason I expected her to beg to be turned into a zombie instead, since, well, that's what she would be perfectly fine with, right? And I couldn't stop thinking of Tina Belcher during the episode. Maybe that ruined it for me. Question for the comics people: Did this storyline happen in the comics, too? I could see it working far better in that medium, for some reason.

I don't know the exact reason for her craziness, but I would guess she had mental problems before the zombie breakout as well, since her sister seemed to know about it and knew how to calm her down. Who would have thought a crazy person would get even crazier when people around are turning into zombies huh?

As seen by how upset she got that Carol was "angry at her" in her last scene, Lizzie still cared about her friends/family. She wasn't a complete sociopath. She doesn't think that all zombies are inherently evil or enemies, but when the burned zombies attacked, she seemed to realize that her friends/family were in danger and was willing to kill the zombies to help protect them.

The people complaining that they did not understand Lizzie's motives or her logic behind her actions are at a level of dumbness they should not be allowed to watch a show use the internet or even leave their bed in the morning... This girl was painted to be deeply traumatized and disturbed by the whole world collapsing and being torn down. There is no way to understand what such circumstances would do to a young person or child and I think both young actors played their part really well for that. The scene where Carol shot Lizzie was just really breathtaking.

When I first saw that Lizzie had slain her sister, my immediate thought was to shoot her. But then I started to think about it. And what Carol had done. And I've come to the conclusion Carol is nothing more than a mean, heartless killer. To shoot an 11 year old girl in the back of the head, just because Carol felt she couldn't sleep at night with Lizzie on the loose was a pretty bad argument for killing a young girl. It really takes a selfish person to shoot a kid like that. Heartless in fact. Maybe if Carol and Tyreese had let the dust settle, they could have had Lizzie tied up or something and waited until they arrived at the Terminus and let Rick or somebody else make the decision what to do. Because at the end of the day, Lizzie was only dangerous when she had a gun or knife in her hand. Society may be dead but doing the right thing shouldn't be. There should have been a cooling off period as I say. Maybe Lizzie would learn that what she did was wrong. And when she realised that, Lizzie would have to live with her actions for the rest of her life. What right did carol have to take Lizzie's life? She had no right at all.

The younger girl was just starting to grow on me too... One of the sadder deaths in the show just because of how fucked up it was.
