Discussing the show and past episodes is fine. Do not put things that have happened in the TV series in spoilers. However, don't spoil things from the books that may happen in future episodes. Put book spoilers in spoiler tags with a CLEAR WARNING that it is from the book.

I liked the part about michonne past, it gave me a little bit more appreciation about the character. Carl is still a bitch (the actor play the bitch role pretty good, gratz ) and next week seems a bit more promising.

Really liked the Michonne parts. Holy crap some backstory! Finally. This. People need to remember Carl is just a kid. He's in the rebellious stage of his life, and is finding the only source of fun is exploring the dangerous world. He's also finally having to come to terms with the fact that his dad isn't as badass as he once thought he was, and that killing all these zombies isn't as glorious as he thought. Honestly, as stupid and annoying as he is acting, it's pretty reasonable for him to act like it.

I liked the monologue in the comic much more. I don't know why they didn't just draw from it directly.

In the show Carl says "I'd be fine if you'd died" after saying how it's all Rick's fault that the others have died, clearly implying that Carl hates Rick now. In the comic Carl simply means that he will be able to take care of himself should Rick die, because he's not a kid anymore.

I dont really get why so many people hate carl. I suppose this show will run for a while and youre not born a bad ass. I mean hes a kid, how old is he supposed to be.. 12? I think it would be rather implausible if he was a bad ass character from the start. I'd give it some time.

He managed to capture the character's vulnerability perfectly. that was really the only part where i felt the acting was decent he monologues and mannerisms all suck. the writing for him is also so goddamn lazy at times. how many times are you gonna walk backwards and fall dipshit??

You have to admit, pretty much no character in this show can walk backwards without falling over all the time.

I'm excited to see them back in the wild, searching houses and living without the safety net of the prison. That is the stuff that makes all these survival zombie Apocalypse stories great. :D What makes them great is a big group of people dying one by one every 5 minutes and there only being one or two left by the 90 minute mark and the movie then ending. For a story like this that does not end at 90 minutes there needs to be more then people searching houses and fighting off zombies.

I don't know, I'm just glad they're revamping everyone's storylines because I was 1 or 2 more bad episodes from never watching this show again.
