I also don't really understand why people order anything other than the smallest drink size when eating somewhere with a serve-yourself fountain machine. My brother spends like $9 every time he goes to McD's on stupid shit like that. He could get the same (or more) amount of protein and calories for a bit over $4-5 if he just got three mcdoubles and a small drink.

As for the ice chewing; I do it as well from time to time, but never in public. I only do it when I'm alone and bored.

There is an awesome bar in my hometown that serves only whiskey and gives you an eye dropper full of water so you can dilute it exactly the way you like it.

I only eat ice on hot days, other than that i just drink and leave the ice. Most of my drinks are canned anyway, canned soda. And when i go to a mc donalds for instance, i only buy food to take back home to then use my own beverages. Mainly because of what you just say, why fuck would you pay £1.00 for a Soda which is 3/4 full with ice and 1/4 full with Soda. Just seems silly, so i just don't do that. However i understand in a restaurant this cannot be stopped ;_;
