This Masters Cup is a double elimination style tournament for Starcraft 2, Heart of the Swarm. $120 prize on offer to the winner, $75 2nd prize, $45 3rd, $20 4th and 5/6th $15 each. $300 prize pool*! There is also a record 820 SEA Championship Series points up for grabs! (Points count towards qualifying for the $2000+ end of season tournament). In addition, the highest ranked Australian or New Zealand player will win a Saphira Mouse, thanks to Tt eSports! This event is sponsored by Eddie, Blizzard ANZ and sc2sea.com

- Lower bracket bo1 until 7/8th placing, where becomes bo3 (2nd last round before semi finals)

Bonus SCS points can be earned if:
Anyone ranked below 16th last season beats someone in Top 16: 5 SCS points
Anyone ranked below 16th last season beats someone in Top 17-32 ranked equal or higher: 2.5 SCS points
Anyone ranked 16th - 9th last season beats anyone in Top 8: 2.5 SCS points
1st - 8th have no chance to earn bonus points
2013 Rankings will be used until 1 February

SEA Championship Series
Masters Cup is a partnered tournament of the SEA Championship Series (SCS). SCS is the SEA regional championship, which follows a yearly season format, where players earn points for placing in all partnered tournaments. The top 32 players ranked via SEA Power Rankings / SCS Player Leader board at the end of the season are then invited to play in the Grand Finale to determine the yearly champion!
PiG was 2013's Champion, taking out the $2100 finals series.

Upper Bracket:
Ro128: Bel'shir Vestige (B03) (R1 on bracket)
Ro64: Frost (B03) (R2 on bracket)
Ro32: Yeonsu (B03) (R3 on bracket)
Ro16: Derelict Watcher TE (B03) (R4 on bracket)
Ro8: Polar Night (B03) (R5 on bracket)

Finals: Whirlwind (B03) - double chance for upper bracket player
Loser can pick from any the following maps:

* Players are allowed 1 veto each per round. The first game cannot be vetoed. Maps cannot be repeated twice in a series.
