My first time posting a blog in years and years, not really sure how this works anymore lol
Currently drowning in the holiday season, I never quite understood how the holidays can be so happy and festive and so stressful and tiredly busy at the same time. On the up side, since all of the major SC2 torneys are done for the year, I'm not missing much from not being able to park myself in front of my cozy duel screens to sob in agony when one of my favorite players loses. Good times, good times.
Since I've been silently hidden in the masses, I think I should have a small intro in this tiny corner of TL I've dug for my own. So here goes:
Hi my name is Xin. I am a SC2 fan and I've watched GSL from 2010 quietly and have been constantly amused by the Live Report Threads and endlessly admired the hundreds of hype articles the staff is able to generate time and time again. In real life I have a BA and am currently enrolled in Paralegal Studies currently though my dream is to be able to enroll in the GIA for appraisal and jewelry design. My hobbies are watching SC2 while making jewelry and handcrafts, taking photos of my ABJDs, reading, and playing MMORPGs.
What prompted this extra kick into making a blog here stems from 1. there being a lack of SC2 to watch so I'm just randomly clicking things on TL now and I stumbled across this 2. I finally sold some silver pendants from my Etsy so I have an excuse to make more to re-stock and I was so excited by the new shiny things I made that I had to share. =)
So have a shiny photograph to end things off:
If anyone bothered to slog through all that, thank you for reading <3

Hi! That is a really nice looking jewel thing. You should send one to your favorite progamer and tell him to wear it in a tournament, then when it shows up in the stream you can claim to be his best fan

Hi there!
I actually really really want to. If I could see them IRL at an event I would want to present them with something.
I've been hoping some day to be able to access a kiln for metal clay, then I could cut and carve SC2 pieces and personalize it with their names and handles. But that's a pretty far off dream. In the mean time I'll see if there's any other way other than welding and sawing sheet metal since I can't do that in my apartment either. lol I'll think of something eventually. I have ideas in my head but the practicality is getting in my way. If I don't make it too girly, maybe they'll actually wear it! Korean guys are more prone to fashion and accessorize right? xD;

That is a really cool dream to have :o I have no doubt that you'll achieve it someday (and just as little doubt that the day will come before Blizzard has finished making an SC3 to replace our SC2 )! Also I didn't know that one was able to make this kind of stuff by sawing and welding sheet metal! Actually, I'm not familiar with most of what this passion of yours entails. It's quite interesting!
I'm sure the Koreans will wear your stuff. Goodness knows many of them have been made to wear far stranger things in the past XD

I love all sorts of jewelry making from smithing to wire wrapping to glass melting to fiber knotting. I could probably also lost wax cast the pieces but again I'd need access to a work place and the workshops are usually a bit pricy since all the pieces will need to be buffed afterwards too. I have a love-hate relationship with buffing wheels. xD Nowadays with no workshop, I'm mostly working in wire wrapping, resin casting, and composite pieces which I adore too.
When I used to teach wire wrapping, I got free rein of the lab, that was nice =) Too bad it's not possible anymore =(
