I'm amazed at how many people single out the ONE fucking thing they don't like about this lineup and focus solely on that. Spoiled brats the lot of you...

Actually your post is the most whiny in this thread so far, it has been mostly a healthy discussion about the analyst desk as there is not much to say about the others since Chobra/Redeye are the best and the spectator roles are less important.

Someone has to be the "host" of the analyst panel. There isn't better guy for that than DJWheat or Incontrol.
I'd also be very surprised if someone from the caster line-up isn't in the panel at times, so i'm okay with the trio right now.
Not to mention, with Chobra in the mix, it's entirely possible that some players will join the analysis as the tournament goes on.
At least, I really really hope so. And with some English as well, although I want Polt to win.
Exactly, good point. So i don't see why people are surprised or whiny because of the analyst picks. They have almost every outspoken, experienced and good in front of a camera -person in the show.

Redeye and Chobra are the best at their roles, so gj there.
No idea who infeza or funka are so no comment on that.
I agree Here. Tod is great at all the protodd match ups. In control? Hmmm... I haven't seen him analyze in a while so I can't speak to it, but it would be great to have a player that can analyze terran and TvT/TvZ match up well. Who though? I can't think of anyone off the top of my head.
Lets hope Polt gets eliminated in the r16 and can join the analyst desk

I wondered the same thing. A good analyst imo has a depth of game knowledge that goes beyond djwheat. Maybe he is supposed to be comic relief but I would rather they conscripted someone like QXC, since he talks well, knows his stuff and isn't annoying to listen to :D
Excited to be observing Blizzcon! If you're unfamiliar with my most recent work, i was observing IEM New York. You can watch some of it here: (Time stamped for your convenience)
I imagine that DjWheat will fill a similar function to the one filled by 2GD at The International - leading the discussion and making sure everyone gets their say. The guy isn't stupid, I imagine he'll be able to bring a few ideas and pieces of analysis of his own to the table, but mostly I feel like he should do what he's best at and that's probably playing the host role more than anything.
