Chobra is a great inclusion! :D

Smix is also good!

I wish Legend could be there, but alas

so why is DJWheat there?? he can't analyze without Day9 feeding him lines, and Day9 is going to cast.

ToD and InControl it rests on you to lift and carry the analysist deck

Analyst desk and Chobra translator, god tier awesomeness. Not familiar with the observers other than Adebisi, but... Adebisi, so end of story. With the previously announced casters, this is the best-staffed event in the history of Starcraft 2. Just wish we could still get the old-school Day9/Husky combination, just because those two were so entertaining together.

Best part is that none of the ear-gratingly terrible casters will be there. :D

Ok lineup, although i dont get that djwheat at analyst desk thinghy, he is not and was not a top player at least so what insights could he offer? Guess he can say "and now we go to incontrol for some game analysis".
You ever notice how no one returns to the barracks?

Disappointing analysis desk. Djwheat isn't an expert, lightly put. ToD & Incontrol are usually very good, but severely lack Terran knowledge while this tournament is actually gonna have quite a number of Terrans for a change.

Redeye and Chobra are the best at their roles, so gj there.

No idea who infeza or funka are so no comment on that.

I dont understand the djwheat choice as an analyst. Hes not dedicated enough and his understanding of the game is awful. Poor kaelaris really.
Idra, Tod and qxc would be the best analyze desk by far.

chobra was seriously insanely good! Best translator in SC2 history in my opinion. His short term memory and ability to recall information at a whim was second to none. I am excited for this. Also, good to see DJWheat at a major tournament again.

djweat is not gonna be an analyst guys,he is gonna be the "host" of the analysis desk and i think he's a one of the best in doing that.

They are talking about three observers (obviously not on the same game). The casters were announced a few weeks ago in a separate post. It's Tastosis, Apollo, Day9 and BitterdaM.

Very happy about ToD's inclusion. And man, Blizzard must hate Kaelaris, even DJW (who has had nothing to do with anything WCS the whole year) is picked over him. I guess they're trying to get as many American SC2 personalities to the event as possible?

Edit: Also thrilled they got Chobra, he blows all the other translators out of the water.

About Kaelaris, I think Blizzard is not the only like that, if you know what I mean.

Kinda agree with the most here... i am afraid djWheat has nothing to tell about Sc2 - let alone analyzing it. Bitterdam and Tasteless are also not really good either. The rest of the crew is awesome :D

I agree Here. Tod is great at all the protodd match ups. In control? Hmmm... I haven't seen him analyze in a while so I can't speak to it, but it would be great to have a player that can analyze terran and TvT/TvZ match up well. Who though? I can't think of anyone off the top of my head.

I have to say, I strongly disagree with you about Bitterdam and Tastosis. They are two of my favorite duos to cast. I enjoy both immensely.

With a goal of having a pro of each race at the analysts' desk, it would be great to have ToD for Protoss, Goswser for Zerg and... maybe qxc for Terran? Terrans are so rare in Europe/AM that I can't think of another English-speaking Terran player that acts as an analyst sometimes. I think Nathanias and Gretorp also play Terran? Though they are casters, not pro players.

Yeah, I figured that was gonna be his role, but it doesn't fit with this lineup imo. Usually you need a host-type for the desk when you have very analytic guys that aren't experienced enough in the presentation department and are just there to analyze. However, both ToD and especially Incontrol are very experienced public speakers and hosts themselves, so Djwheat's skill set isn't needed.

Like someone else had mentioned I'd much rather have a more Terran-focused third guy, although it is hard to find foreign Terrans.
