The Veteran will be notified that he lost his extra life. There wont be any threadnotification for other players (scum or town).
In regard to the Doc question: If he saves someone successfully, there wont be any notification, none for the doc, none for the saved person and none for the thread. Only information you will have is the lack of a Nightkill.

In other news, I currently have 10/12 confirmations.

Well you've got some options: you could wait for another signup, or you could go with a 8 town 3 scum setup, which isn't so bad. If town only mislynches:
D1: 8/3
D2: 6/3
D3: 4/3 lylo

contrast with a 9 town 3 scum setup:
D1: 9/3
D2: 7/3
D3: 5/3 mylo

Of course in a 9/3 setup a single doctor save gives the town an extra mislynch, and in an 8/3 setup it just changes the lylo to mylo. Also in an 8/3 setup a vigilante misfire moves lylo up a day, and in 9/3 it just turns the mylo into a lylo. town blue roles (except for the cop) are somewhat weaker in an 8/3 setup.

koshi isn't very good (lolol) so having him in here wouldn't be so bad. he's in an ongoing game though so I'd recommend against it at least for the time being.

you could also just reopen for signups and wait a few days

Pharcyd3 is missing. I was planning to wait on him for a while or just reopen signups, but if everyone else agrees on Koshi, we can start right away
