also I don't get people complaining against barcodes .. lol lawl. I've recently decided on a new policy. If my opponent won't identify himself (or herself), in other words, if the name is a bar-code, they get no regard. No gl hf, no gg. My reason? Dealing with these people makes it really annoying keeping track of my replays... Just a bunch of nobodies who hide their names in exactly the same way as the pro-gamers like it somehow matters that they might run into someone a second, or third time on the ladder. Essentially, they don't exist, because they have no identity. you're so mean.... I'm sure all those barcodes who didn't get your gl hf are having troubles sleeping at night.
that's so harsh dude.. </3

Another one?
At this rate I'll be able to change my name three times. In succession.
*gasp*
The horrors!
I wonder how many name changes we'll have by the end of Legacy of the Void.

They don't stack so we'll still only have one.

If you want to hide your identity, I'm sure you can be a little more creative. Uhg. Banning barcodes wouldn't do anything. It's just a symptom of the so-called problem. If players suddenly decided that say, DavidKim was the new barcode ID, instead of tons of barcodes, you would jus see tons of DavidKims on the ladder. I'm not sure how that's better. I don't think the need for anonymity can be ignored, either. Smurfs are an important part of training on the ladder, because it allows you to hide your builds from people who would otherwise want to research you.
To be fair that'd be pretty entertaining. Every Masters league half full with "DavidKim".

Wonder why they just don't leave the option there you know. THey clearly have the system in place, just you know give it to us.

That would be much better than barcodes IMO. Someone should make a serious thread about it lmao!

i hope they dont. a lot of streamers use barcodes so that it is harder to streamcheat them.

You can't really blame them. They are doing whatever it takes to win. I think the fault is more in the system. Blame the system, not the players.

If you have any 1 change available, they will never expire unless they tell you at a future date.
