Mchale played a perimeter based game because none of Houston's post players were capable of scoring consistently on their own. Of course he would change the offense if it was Dwight posting up instead of Asik. Asik was really good defensively, and better than expected offensively, but he still had problems catching passes for wide open shots on the pick and roll that I expect Dwight would handle with no problem. Part of Jeremy Lin's struggles were related to the fact that Asik isn't a great pick and roll finisher, where Dwight would be an upgraded version of what Lin had with Tyson Chandler.

Dude doesn't like pressure. He would rather go somewhere with not as high expectations, where it will be easier for him. I mean the billboards are pathetic, I am sure the Lakers know that. The only reasons they did it, is because they know that Dwight would like it and he is the only one that matters. If he does leave, those hours or days right after will be funny on those billboard-streets.

Welcome to your starting 5 for 2014 (and hello Wiggins!): Old man Nash Jodie Meeks MWP (bonus action of 20 FGA a game!) Pau Sacre (bleu!) Will struggle to win 20 games IMO. This would be the best. I think I would have to root for Dwight on the Rockets. Especially if McHale gets through to him.

I loved the superman days of dwight, and his demeanor in Orlando, but the moment he landed in LA, it was like he just didn't like it here, and it showed, and I'd rather not have someone like that here. I work right next to the training facility for the lakers, and I saw a similar banner, and i scoffed. We're gonna end up looking like the Cleveland Cavs when he walks, and we're seen burning his jersey in the streets. -_-'
