Gumiho advancing over rain is a travesty. Rain is the best protoss or at worst top 3(and that nonsense by opterown saying rain is a lesser creator is hilarious when creator is at best a mid tier code s player not not even in the discussion of best protoss in the world) and to have a group with the best terran and top 3 protoss to have a low or maybe mid tier terran advance over either one of them is horrible. I'm sure some how im going to find that Innovation gets knocked out too and ill need a new computer screen. Laughably ignorant; not worth the time. On April 18 2013 06:25 fezvez wrote: I agree with you about how Rain is easily top 3 protoss in the world. I also agree that GumiHo is not top 3 terran in the world. But, this day, Gumiho just played superbly. Gumiho is an inconsistent player, able to destroy his opponents in GSTL before losing to much lesser players (though, not at the same extent as Bomber) and never going far far far in a GSL. Rain on the other hand is muh more consistent. I felt his play was beautiful yesterday. But his beautiful play was overshadowed by Gumiho's even sexier play. What may annoy you is that Gumiho might bomb out of the Ro16 because of his inconsistency, whereas Rain would have triumphed. True. But yesterday, Gumiho was the better player. And don't start about how Terran is OP, it is not. Gumiho may technically be inconsistent according to his individual results, but this 'quality' of being inconsistent is not inherent or innate; rather, said inconsistency can be owed to poor luck. Gumi has always been a Code S Champion contender, and this is evidenced in even the most generic of his play. Any unbiased person who 'knows their StarCraft' would acknowledge this (unfortunately such folk seem to be far and few between). Single-handedly acquiring his team 'GSTL Champion' status twice (all-kill followed by reverse triple) only serves to further attest to the kid's staggering potential. And speaking of consistency; I'd say Gumi's been pretty damn consistent with providing us some of the absolute highest-quality, most entertaining games of all time through his prodigy: unrivaled, relentless multitasking; innovation in the contexts of strategy and unit composition/employment; unique, always-in-your-face, bare-knuckled playstyle; and those 'cute', clutch, super sexy micro moves that we can expect nigh every game from Gumi...these moves may be replicated and Gumi may not necessarily be the originator...but, certainly, no other player delivers or provides them at nearly such a frequency. Gumi's play just never fails to make me smile. It's truly awe-inspiring in its own way. The kid works his ass off, and it shows. He even refuses to leave Korea till he's won a GSL. Truly worthy of admiration. And yet so criminally underrated for whatever reason. Perhaps the blind/ignorant fanboys (*cough* Maghetti *cough*) don't find him as sexy/cute as MKP or some equally abominable, vomit-inducing, heinous reason.

Also quite unfortunately Nestea fans haven't had anything "big" to cheer about lately, so maybe it's just an older memory. I'm not a Nestea fan, but that thought still makes me sad. He used to be so boss. Then he won the Nestea award.

But he's the best, it will be delusional to not acknowledge that. He will be in Code B next season to show people that he can go straight from code B to WCS season final champion in one season.
