I've been looking too. I really want to see Bogus vs Hyun

Honestly, I don't think there is. If there was a way, then GOMTV wouldn't make any profit as is (at least in regards to SC2 and GSL) outside of sponsorship money. I wish Blizzard would front the bill so everyone can have access to VODs for free too, doesn't even matter if it's crappy old gomtv quality too (still watchable, well, barely.)

It's $20 for the entire season on Twitch. You can't spare $20 for 3 months of entertainment?

If it makes you feel better then Mr Bitter, Rotterdam, TB, Day9, DjWheat and Apollo are all much, much more biased when casting.

e.g. students or people who aren't working, etc. $20 a few times a year adds up

I've been a student twice and both times $20 every 3 months was not a problem. Most students spend that every week getting drunk if not more.

oh i understand, i'm sure there are plenty that would spend that to support esports and enjoy the content which is more than what the money is worth, i'm supportive of them. but me personally, i wouldnt watch english casts even if i was paid to do so.

I agree with most of these except TB and Apollo

TB doesn't play SC2 so he isn't racially biased and he doesn't know that much about the players so he just casts what is happening at all times (as a side note he will be biased when casting Crank :p). Apollo plays random and is imo the most professional and knowledgable caster. I don't ever remember him showing bias in his casts.

In any case less bias would be nice but ESports isn't the only competition with it. Listening to the Bruin's commentators makes my brain hurt TT.

TB especially is really, really foreigner biased. Apollo too but not as bad.

I am reading through this thread as I watch the vods(i dont know the results) and I am so fucking pissed I can't help but type this. Gumiho advancing over rain is a travesty. Rain is the best protoss or at worst top 3(and that nonsense by opterown saying rain is a lesser creator is hilarious when creator is at best a mid tier code s player not not even in the discussion of best protoss in the world) and to have a group with the best terran and top 3 protoss to have a low or maybe mid tier terran advance over either one of them is horrible. I'm sure some how im going to find that Innovation gets knocked out too and ill need a new computer screen.

Remember the good old days of 2011 when basically every good player would get eliminated every round and we'd have players like Hongun in the semi finals and Inca, Rain in the finals?

I used to be so pissed back then that we never got the Nestea vs MVP, MVP vs MC or Nestea vs MC finals we all wanted.

I agree with you about how Rain is easily top 3 protoss in the world.

I also agree that GumiHo is not top 3 terran in the world.

But, this day, Gumiho just played superbly. Gumiho is an inconsistent player, able to destroy his opponents in GSTL before losing to much lesser players (though, not at the same extent as Bomber) and never going far far far in a GSL. Rain on the other hand is muh more consistent. I felt his play was beautiful yesterday. But his beautiful play was overshadowed by Gumiho's even sexier play.

What may annoy you is that Gumiho might bomb out of the Ro16 because of his inconsistency, whereas Rain would have triumphed. True. But yesterday, Gumiho was the better player.

And don't start about how Terran is OP, it is not.

Rain played like shit today and didn't deserve to win against either Gumiho or Innovation. He really hasn't looked nearly as good this year as he did last year when he was winning WCS and going deep in GSL. He's very vulnerable to multi-pronged harass and people are starting to exploit that.

Stop being so butthurt.

Not a travesty. Gumiho is far more fun to watch than Rain imo :p. Sides, Gumiho outplayed Rain fair and square no bullshit just multitask and a variety of harass (and Rain derping on not getting thermal lance).
