You have to play perfectly the entire game, and can lose to blind a moving and doom speed drops at any moment. He showed that he is clearly the superior player, but had some unlucky breaks. Taeja or Losira have 0 shot of winning a GSL, so today was a pretty lackluster day. I'm a fantasy fan but even I can't understand your statement on how fantasy clearly showed he's the superior player. Game 1 yeah the constant hellbat harass was a nice change of pace but his management of his main army was sloppy as hell and his macro was just terrible. There was also a point midgame when taeja matched his number of tanks, which is pretty embarrassing bio vs. mech. Also, taeja did not make any vikings or turrets that game to deal with the harass. Don't really understand why but I'm guessing taeja's not used to fantasy's playstyle and assumed fantasy would stop harassing after the first few successful drops and focus more on his main army. The point is taeja's lack of defense made it extremely easy to drop hellbats, and those don't really require that much micro anyways so the fact that fantasy harassed his workers so much is not really all that impressive. Game 2: hard to really judge either player because taeja won with a weird opener (2rax reaper) Game 3 really made it clear to me that taeja is a better player because 1) he adapted to fantasy's harass from the first game with turrets/viking and 2) his army engagements were just a lot better with great flanks. Fantasy on the other hand was pretty reckless with his hellbats. There were so many instances of him trying to chase marauders with hellbats with his tanks lagging too behind to catch up or still sieged. These engagements always ended the same way with taeja just kiting and fantasy losing most of his hellbats for nothing. Also, unlike game 1 fantasy didn't really use widow-mines all that effectively. There were hardly any in key points of the map such as around his 4th near the center of the map. Those could have helped against the banshees (which was a fucking brilliant decision on taeja's part) that took out half of his tanks midgame, considering he had no other anti-air at the time.

He does a very poor job defending his workers and keeping his economy in check. All of his focus goes into his multi prolonged attacks suchs that he doesnt care if he loses all of his workers to basic counter attacks unless his situation is dire and in need or protection. It showed against taeja it showed against True it Showed against Flash too I'm a big fantasy fan but he's NOT the superior player to taeja. Taeja and Fantasy are on quite even levels while fantasy does some minor things better taeja does the same as well. Also, as I reiterated in another thread. Losira is evil.
