Except it's a deathball that starts from the first unit built and is added to all game, unlike the old BL/Infestor/Corruptor where you effectively had to trade away your midgame army.
Protoss is so safe with sentry, MSC, Photon Overcharge and Phoenix it's incredibly hard to break it.
To the P's watching this thinking it's great and funny, you're retarded.
A lot of my problems with ZvP right now entirely revolves around maps.
With maps like Daybreak, Ohana, Entombed Valley etc. All of which are designed around Protoss having an easily accessible natural and third are not allowing Protoss to be properly pressured due to the combination of defensive abilities they have available to them in HoTS.
You see a map like Howling Peak and how much it DRASTICALLY changes the way that ZvP is played as evidence for how much adjusting the map pool needs to do to the new units that are in the game.

So u cant just sit on your bases and wait till bl / inf are rdy? Like zergs did the last 2 years? Really really feeling bad for you
If by 2 years you mean 6 months sure.
Well altleast i would take this 6 months and enjoy the mu vs z like zergs did vs p.
Yes that's the way we should go about balancing a game revenge "well this race did it now it's our turn!". But in general I think roach/hydra is bad so it makes voidray/colossi even stronger .

Except Protoss had Immortal all-in, 8 gate +2 allin, pre-hive timing and MS Vortex to have a window to win.

Why do people feel that one imbalance justifies another? Never understood this logic, and makes me feel that these threads are mostly populated by middle school students.

Rofl the BL/Infestor months were the reason I quit playing Sc2 and I'm a zerg.

because of the 0,27 hp/sec regeneration that you gain?
much more efficient, after 100 secs you'll have 27 more hp to consume
sorry for being cynical ;;
edit: consume on evos is freaking awesome, not complaining :D
hmm well it's 0,27 for every building D:
yea imagine if it's 4 building you get another free evo chamber after less than 13 minutes!
You have let's say 4 vipers and 3 evos. If you focus all on 1 you prolly just kill it, if you focus on all seperate one, not only you won't kill them, but they will be full hp on next consume.

Excellent point too. As a Z I love Howling Peak, any Protoss with a single brain cell will veto this shit!

And how can zerg be aggressive without just going all-in...
One race has to allin before the other gets an unbeatable death army?
Man, that seems really familiar...
I don't understand what you're getting at...
WoL was imbalanced, therefore hots should be broken as well?
I dunno, I wouldn't mind a brief payback period.
On a more serious note I do think voids need toning down, but it's hilarious to see the same zergs saying that infestor/BL was fine now complaining about colossus/void/ht.

Me to I quit in august cause I just couldn't handle bl/cor/infestor as a zerg it was so so so boring. Hots I am glad it's a dead composition :p

I really don't like this argument. If both players are passive and build tier three armies, one should not be vastly more powerful than the other.
I've been withholding any opinions on balance, but I'm beginning to suspect that void rays are too powerful in ZvP.
Starcraft rarely works that way.
WoL Zerg play is a great example, and BW ZvP worked this way as well. The match ups can be balanced and yet not be balanced around both players being completely passive.

what? how will they be full hp?^^ maybe I missed the joke
Whining aside what was with violet expansion sniping? Would have thought cutting down the void-ray count would be a better idea than throwing half your army for a nexus.

Oh come on, you lost. It's TLO. He knows every freaking number in the game. Him saying something is insignificant is the definition of insignificant.
