Scoots did mention who probably took his position in EG, but i can't remember his name. (no, Scoots wasn't the CEO, Thats Alex Garfield and no one hasn't replaced him). No one hasn't replaced Scoots on Lo3 yet. | ||

I'm confused by the long talk about journalism though I thought the community already had this discussion in this thread. http://www.reddit.com/r/starcraft/comments/wcg45/so_you_say_you_want_independent_esports_journalism/ It had a some industry people posting and there was a lot of criticism from everyone saying it would not work because there were no hidden stories, everyone is super tight lipped so it is impossible to find out any hidden information, and we already had all the journalism the industry needed anyways. EG huk was particularly vocal about esfi world being excellent so we should just stick with them. Scoots and JP seemed to be taking the opposite position that a skilled independent journalist could easily find out everything that would happen in the next 6 months because everyone knows everything and tells everyone, Slasher should do more investigative stuff into stuff like drug using at tournaments (Is there a hidden story there?), and ESFI world could be holding back on reporting negative stories out of fear of losing event coverage or interview access. I'm hoping someone can clear up what is closer to the truth for me. thanks! | ||
