The (mini) real talk between idra and jp will not be streamed btw :
JP McDaniel @itmeJP 7 h @idrajit contacted me to do a mini real talk so we'll be doing that tomorrow evening; no stream for this; will post when we're done!

Sorry for not streaming this. Would rather not have to deal with DDOS issues (regardless of current proxies), chat distraction, and I really want to focus on the quality of the interview.

Please make sure you detach yourself from being idras friend and get some good answers.

That sounds like a very sensible choice. Thanks for all your work generally jp and in this case in particular. I hope it goes well.

Looking forward to what idrA has to say unfiltered.
Thanks JP.

Juicy answers are fine and all, but you have to have some empathy when it comes to something like this. This like some Real World: Starcraft where Idra has to confess to the whole world every little detail of his life. All that is probably going to be said and should be said is to give Greg a chance to speak his mind and his side of the story in so far as this issue is concerned. If your looking for a roast of Idra, should of asked Slasher to do it.

I don't think Idra is one to pull punches

when will it be up on youtube?

Wow, this is immense. IdrA is handling this really well so far.

I'm not even sure why people are surprised. Idra is incredibly hard working, stayed with a team for 3 years, and is an established pro-gamer (maybe one of the most established now). Sure, he has his unique quirks that people brand as "unprofessional" but at the end of the day he's very committed and hard working - much more so than most pro gamers. I guess I'm just not surprised to see him handling things well - I think people who were expecting him to fall flat on his face don't have much of an idea of who he is. Just because he gg's too early out of games early or gets frustrated with ridiculous balance issues doesn't mean he is a lazy bum who will give up at the first sight of trouble. Hell, I'd consider him calculated enough to have done all of this on purpose to get more attention and make more $$$. But that's just me.

Youtube $$, it's ok - we get it, you don't have to do it live.
|
I imagine this would get a TON of viewers if he did it live, thought I get why he's not. I'll be eagerly waiting for it to be uploaded.

He said he will upload before 12EDT. Will he post in here or just on Twitter?

Either that or he just doesn't want to put up with DDoS, stream chat etc. Like he said like halfway up this very page.

Not sure why everyone is hyping this. IdrA said himself there's nothing exciting to be said, he's just going to explain what happened and what he plans to do moving forward.
If you want the entire scope of how this is going to go, here it is:
"Alex and I decided it would be best for us to part ways"
"I don't have any current plans to join another team but that might change in the future"
/thread

"/interview" would've been the better wording, but the point remains.
