So I was inspired by some infographics that I came across on the net and some other forms of it. Word art, typography, that sort of thing. I don't know what to call them. Anyway, I decided to try and create some of my own because it's just pleasing to look at.
Here's the stuff I farted out so far:
The Resolve of One Who CreatesInspired by a post on r/TypographyComments: It seems forced. And that one 'S' is just plain weird. The Holstee ManifestoInspired by the Holstee ManifestoComments: The whole thing doesn't seem to flow very well and it feels cheesy. The font doesn't seem to fit the general feel of the text too. When I heard the Learn'd AstronomerInspired by Walt Whitman's poemComments: My favourite poem of all time. I think it looks fine, but I'm not sure I've done it justice. Be SoftInspired by Kurt VonnegutComments: This was my first time experimenting with using different fonts for different emotions associated with certain words. I’m a little concerned about the kerning. The picture also seems a little blurry for some reason. I'm quite satisfied with this though, despite my worries about the choice of colours. So it goesInspired by Kurt Vonnegut & Iranon+ Show Spoiler [outdated version] +Comments: I feel that this has so much untapped potential. I originally planned to include all the sentences that prelude “So it goes” in Slaughterhouse 5, wrapping “So it goes”, but alas. The program was starting to crawl and sputter. I think it looks fine, so that's good I guess.
I'm still trying to figure out what tools I should have if I want to continue this hobby. I'm currently using some web application, so I might not be able to do as much. I also need to learn more about how fonts work with each other. Serif, San-serif, and all that cool jazz.
I'll probably also need to look at more professionally done work so I can take some notes.

This is pretty cool, in fact I totally think you should talk to DivinO about this. Haven't seen him around and he just LOVES this stuff because it's awesome. Hm if you want to revise any of your graphics, the "some opportunities only come once" in the second graphic has "opportunities misspelled". And yeah "so it goes" appears 106 times so you probably won't be able to fit all of it lol. I like this though!

Dude you're really good at this. Happy Year of the Snake, by the way.
Also, here are some lines/quotes I've accumulated over the years that you might want to use:

Really cool. I like the Holstee Manifesto one, pretty inspiring. Also the weird 'S' in the make more things this year, I would make it the same size as the "NGS" above it, and put it below the N. Good job!

Heh. Thanks man. I'll try to use some of those quotes

Thanks! I tried to do what you suggested, but I realized that the image will look even more weird since after resizing the S, the general structure of the words (a rectangle) will collapse.

Hey Shady, I did one of the quotes.
I'm a little unsure about how I placed the text. I still need to get the text to flow well I guess.
|
"Getting lost will help your find yourself" GL with this, and HF.
|
Yeah I really have to remake the manifesto thing
|
I updated the manifesto! It should be void of typos now!
|
Your "so it goes" would look better if the text ran all the way to (and over) the edges on all 4 sides. Make it be a window that looks in on the text, not a box that someone typed text into.

I like Typography a lot. It's one of those arts that people rarely think about, a lot like an image based version of calligraphy. It is seriously one of the coolest art pieces that the internet has spread. I'm not very sure how to create these though, is there a program that does it? Maybe this is just in photoshop or paint? I have no idea.

@Iranon
That's a fantastic idea. I'll definitely try that. Cheers!
@docvoc
Typography is amazing, there is no doubt about that. You can look up applications online or use Photoshop. I just googled "How to get started with typography"
@Shady
Thanks

HELLO! I THINK I FINISHED IT. I included all the sentences that I was able to squeeze into the canvas. I think I have a couple more sentences I can fit into the empty spaces.
+ Show Spoiler +
Edit: Heres' the updated and hopefully final version:

I came for the WordArt.
I really like your typographic skills though.
