I'd like to see him play, but I was more noting the "end of an era" that some people are talking about in regards to MVP basically (literally?) always being in GSL. If he does decide to play- which I honestly hope he doesn't and concerns himself with his health- I don't see any results coming from him.

The ends of eras are always very sad I'm bummed to see him go because I've always been a fan of his. He did have a pretty solid run though and won over $300,000.

If someone say, Hero, who knows how to counter 1/1/1 perfectly plays Labyrinth, he'll get destroyed. I was gonna introduce Labyrinth as a trash 1/1/1 cheeser. But that was too much of my Bisu fanboyishness talking so I toned it down a bit. + Show Spoiler +Apparently that's also how he eliminated Bisu in the qualifiers' finals. Two 1/1/1 in a row. I heard it from Whiplash and SNM in a recent Proleague cast, don't know which anymore.
Oh yes the notorious 1/1/1.. We should all hate on Polt because he popularized it. In all seriousness, Bisu seems to be doing pretty well but rumour says that his pvp is absolutely god awful so he cant really be sent out in pro league.

fucking sad day for LG-IM, none of their players advanced today :/

I'm so sad for Mvp
|
omg LG-IM. It was amazing to see so many of them getting out of the qualifiers.. But.. In the end it didn't even matter.
|
No.... no... please no Mvp... Why are none of my favorite players doing well
|
well MVP looked really slow in that first game, late third base, not much multitasking and covering around the map sad to see after getting so far ahead that he couldn't capitalize the advantage.

I was never an MVP fan TBH (I'm a big Protoss fanboy), but even I think it's pretty damn shameless to be gloating over MVP's loss given that his decline is due to unfortunate health issues. Lol @ the handful people doing that.

Seed and First how could you lose T_T...

MVP has been the most overrated player in WOL history. if you followed him closely, you'd notice his GSL wins were mostly a combination of luck and throws by his opponents, glad he finally got exposed and now out of GSL where he belongs

Go back to watching hentai if that's what you see from watching SC2

Yes, MVP is the greatest SC2 WoL player ever.
He was winning ever since the beginning and has until after his GSL against Life.
Also like Artosis said, he was the Terran hope - MVP showed us that Terran can still win while all other Terrans were falling off left and right from the Zerg and Protoss invasion.
They could totally make an anime or TV series about MVP.
Before MVP vs Rain (GSL Season 4): Rain: MVP, only I can defeat Life and only I can stop the Zerg invasion! No one can stop me. MVP: Well, lets see who wins this match. The winner must go and stop the Zerg!
After MVP defeats Rain: Rain: Go MVP, defeat Life and save our universe from the Zerg....! MVP: I will.
Then the scene slowly freezes with a picture of a huge Life appearing over MVP and Rain, with Life doing an evil laugh!
Life: MUHAHAHAHHA!!
To be continued....
Then the ending scene plays which is a montage of pro gamers posing and looking cool, with some epic sad music playing in the background (this is the ending for every episode of this season).
Yep, that's MVP... the greatest SC2 WoL player. I'm sort of Flash fanboy but you really have to give credit to MVP. He's been in 6 out of 17 GSL finals, won 4 GSL tournaments.
He was the few Terrans to manage to do anything during the days of Zerg and Protoss dominance.

Wow, I can't believe I'm seeing MVP 0-2'd out of code A, though understandable due to his current health. Glad to see Flash make it through though, I really want to see him in code S next season.

Mvp indeed was the defender of the earth, the ultimate Terran hope.
Dunno if we will ever get a player like him in HOTS, if Zerg can be ever stopped again by such an extra ordinary individual
It makes me sad both Mvp and MMA in such condition.
If they wont continue or keep underperforming at HOTS now that would be horrible news

Well, MVP has a reason for not doing well.
