That's just nonsense. I'm sorry, but beating Nada and Savior on the same day is a mile harder than getting through an ODT full of third-rate players. Players aren't voted to play in Superfight because of random luck. Players are voted to play because they're truly who the Korean fans as well as professionals think are the cream of the crop in their certain races. If you don't think that the players worked hard to get to play in Superfight, you're clearly uninformed. Believe it or not, players' performance in the individual leagues are not all representative of their skill level. There's a reason why Jaedong got to play in superfight 5 while someone like Silver, who has accomplished more in recent individual leagues, had to sit out. The Koreans know just as well as everybody else that qualifying for leagues partly require luck in getting the right matchups on the right maps, and that it's entirely possible that a player who's better than another player didn't qualify for a league simply because he had worse luck. Players getting voted by fans and professionals to play in the Superfight doesn't make the tournament meaningless. If anything, it means that much more simply because players were picked based on a professional opinion of their skill, rather than purely by their results on leagues which many times can be misleading. It's not unfair that some players got to play in Superfight while others don't. The system is completely fair to everybody. If there's another race war at this same time next year, Mumuyng has just as much an equal chance as Savior to play in it, all he has to do is show the world he's at the elite level between now to the end of 2007. It's incredible how much you downplay Superfight like they were nothing tournaments even though in reality, getting to play in Superfight by itself is harder than qualifying for any league. And there's no reason to justify why Oov is not in this month's power rank. According to you, Jaedong at the moment is a better player than Oov. Did you even watch Oov vs Jaedong at Superfight? Or Jangbi, how is this guy currently a better player than Oov? There's not a single sensible reason as to why Jangbi has shown a better performance than Oov in recent memories to justify him at #9 and Oov not making the list at all. Consider Oov's tearing up of the preliminaries and a complete domination at Superfight, there's no reason at all that can justify why he's not on the list. Amen...!! :D and for 3rd time.. WHere is Hwasin ?

I'm glad we're in agreement that the Power Rank is more meaningful than KeSPA's ranking system. ^^

It was much more of a popularity contest then anything else. It was apparent on the terran lineup. While oov is my favorite pro and I'm really rooting for him there were much more hotter (skill-wise obviously ) players then him, like Iris or Casy.

And not only the results, iloveoov looked very impressive, his crazy macro skills were on full display. There's no justification for this. This month's power rank is somewhat of a joke anyway just because of the lack of games but even so putting jaedong over iloveoov makes no sense.

You were right, Oov was indeed the safe, and correct, choice :-) since he's already made it to MSL and still hasn't played for OSL.
