he popularized it in pro play, but that timing has been around since early 2011 man.
Make no mistake.

I think Mvp even told Seed that he can't go Colossi on abyssal after Seed lost against Flash during season 5 U&D. The map makes it easy to get vikings get into good positions when attacking the natural and with SCVs pull, it is very tough to hold the ramp even with forcefields. And even if you do force field, terrans can still do multi pronge drops on your main.

Stream was going so well until now

Also, Nestea could not beat top tier terran players in 2011 because of map imbalance, said Artosis. How can you beat MVP on the old Shakuras Plateau with the backdoor rocks on horizontal positions?

How did Nestea lose to Fantasy? How is he looking in general? From Artosis' twitter, it seems the standard stomp mid-game then his usual bad lategame costing him.
Also, did HuK gateway all in his first game as well? Sorry, just got back from work.

Wow, it's so laggy that it's 90% buffering and 10% video. Can't watch anymore.

He has no progress at all in his match up, no variety. He has only his ling/bane/muta style which is actually exactly what a good Terran would want to face. If FantaSy would be not as sloppy as he was, he would have won easily.
I don't understand why NesTea doesn't switch up his game. He has great mechanics, but other than that.... I cannot understand his decision to go muta/ling/bane which is basically dead against a well playing Terran. The position where FantaSy lost everything could have already been game over if he did set up his tanks and marines in a correct way.
=.=; He's fun to watch, does his thing, and still stays in GSL. Btw, consider a name change. That anime is horrible. Consider thinking before posting. Might be not the reason I chose the nickname ! Also can't argue about taste. Consider thinking before saying Nestea is a terrible player. Considering how he dropped to Code B and still has the fighting spirit to come back for a 30 year old, I say that is pretty impressive. Also he is a X3 GSL Champion. Frankly speaking, calling him terrible player is just bad from you. Are you dumb? Watch him play. Every top foreign Zerg now is a better player and at least in ZvT more scary. Sorry to hurt your feelings with it, but I base what I write on his games, not because I dislike him. I acknowledge his fighting spirit and I'm not saying he is TERRIBLE as Starcraft 2 player, but in terms of being a full-time professional Korean, he is terrible. Thats how it is, even if its sad. Maybe get your head out of his ass and watch the games. I don't rate players on their previous achievements.... they don't matter if you talk about current skill. NaDa in his prime of broodwar was unbelievable, owned so much and even though he was a better player overall in his future career, compared to others he wasn't just as good anymore. He had one last very intense and good OSL iirc, but well, wasnt enough. Same with NesTea. He was a good player, maybe ahead of his opponents at his time but right now he's nothing but average. If you cannot agree with it, just don't but don't insult others nickname because their opinion hurt you. Thats ridiculous. He got out of the hell known as code B on his first try. Something people strave for months if not a year long that still no foreigner ever made (except open seasons). He may not be as good as he used to be but please, he aint nearly as bad as you make him out to be.
No one is saying he's bad. We're just saying he's a lot more mediocre than the fanbois who call him "OMG OFREVER TOP 3 ZERG IM NESTEEAAAAAAA GOD CREATOR OF THE UNIVERSE" make him out to be. He's still a good Code A / Code S borderline player at the moment and has deserved to be in the GSL for as long as he has been. He's just pretty lackluster and underwhelming compared to the way a lot of the community perceives him.
