Pretty meh. You can get better games for that money. Better get Witcher2/Sleeping Dogs etc.

I can get sleeping dogs for 4€? Really? On my steam page it said 16, not 4. Witcher2 is 8€, and last time I checked that isn't equal to 4€ either.
From what I played of it Rage seems like a very fun shooter, the driving is decent and the RPG elements are pretty fun. It reminds me a lot of Borderlands, except Rage can be geniunely difficult at times. I haven't had any particular issues with texture pop-in(GTX 570ti) but that's probably something to look out for, also mouse acceleration is a pain in the ass in the menus, but that can be somewhat fixed.
I find it pretty hard to argue a 4€ purchase in any case, but I really don't see a reason not to get it if you're interested in these kinda games.

is there still a day of sales left?

No. The current one is the last to my knowledge. So if you look for something which wasnt on sale yet - it will not go on sale.
But they announced an Encore weekend: "A select number of the most sought-after titles from the Steam Holiday Sale will reprise their biggest discounts for two additional days. The Encore Weekend begins at 10am PST on January 5th (Saturday) and run until 10am PST on January 7th (Monday)."

Already have the witcher 2 and agreed sleeping dogs is 10.19 for me in sterling, I have all the games I wanted for 2012 so just looking into some fun games that are cheap. Got ace of Spades when it was on flash. Thanks though will give Rage a try

it should be 1 more day, its only the 4th in the US.

Has anyone brought up Dishonored being 50% off on the flash sales? If not, that's notable.

Probalby the worst Steam-Sale in history. But the last year was really terrible in terms of new good games. And all good "older" games were on sale already in the past sales. Torchlight 2 is the only thing left on my list, but I have enough other games to play until its down to 5$.

You get way more fun/hour out of Sleeping Dogs for ~15€ and Witcher 2 for 7.49$. You shouldn't buy a mediocre game just because its cheap. Better safe up your money and buy a great game.

Is Dishonored worth the 25 Euro or should I wait till it gets cheaper?

IMO, it was worth full price when it released. kinda replaced the Thief games for me. Hopefully Thief 4 will give them a run for their money. If you rush through Dishonored, you can finish it in 12-14 hours, but you'll miss a lot of the cool nuances that they have hidden through out the game. So it really depends how much time you think that it will take you to play the game and how much you want to get out of it, but I would get it on sale.

Man people on TL are really nice. One guy actually went out of his way to PM me a Dota 2 gift key when I asked if I should buy it. Totally didn't know there were so many keys floating around lol just thought I could get early access for cheap :D. Thanks so much!

Second on Bastion, best game I played recently. See my post in the thread for the game on these forums for some tips if you need 'em.

Bastion is more of an aRPG than a Point'n'click tbh.
I would recommend playing it with a controller, if possible, since it's an isometric perspective which isn't always great on the mouse and keyboard, but it's certainly not required.

I've been playing it with a keyboard and I can totally see why a controller would be recommended. I'm thinking of getting an Xbox controller because I want to get Dark Souls, and I already have darksiders and batman arkham city and asylum and a controller is really useful for those games.

I don't mean to come off as a rabid fanboi, but have you even played the game? Diablo 3 is a point-and-click; Bastion is an AWSD movement game. The closest comparison is Secret / Legend of Mana. Excellent game that should not be missed, particularly when you consider that it's going for the price of a McRib.
To above poster, I had no problem playing the game with keyboard / mouse. Just got 10 idol achievement in Kid's dream, and was on last reflection in Stranger's dream. For the noobs, that's essentially playing the hardest, least forgiving parts of the game on the absolute highest difficulty setting (although I hear that Z's dream is the hardest).

Man, I can't even beat the 4th who knows where with 0 idols ;o; (granted I'm not max level either)
|
+ Show Spoiler +Try flamer with added DoT and range + mortar with one radius upgrade, self-immunity + leechade. Max level does not add much really; not being there actually makes things easier as you refresh all life and potions when you level. Drop mortar bombs and roll / guard like a boss, use flamer to heal back to full before finishing last enemy. Also helps to know the waves so you know how to position (in a corner vs Ura / multiple range, close to cover vs stationary shooters). Save black tonics for near-death or last boss as he is a two-shotting bitch (I used bomb barrage, may try mirror guard or the trapper snare next run).
I have also heard that the pike is an excellent alternative to the flamer, may try it myself next time. You could make calamity cannon work on 5 idols (the lasting DoT effect is excellent), but it doesn't benefit as well from leechade, and serves you no use for melee-range enemies with 10 idols who are rapidly healing / mortar barely outdamages the heal by itself.

My bounty for this steam sale:-
Borderlands 2(including the Season Pass & Mechromancer pack) Heroes of Might & Magic 6
