Anyway, I didn't mean to post here just for that! Sign me up for DRG. I disagree. Life lost 0:4 to soulkey in the GSL He lost to Hyun recently 0:2 lost to violet 0:2 at Blizzcup his record against leenock is actually 6:8 (both international and korean) record against sniper is 4:3 counting that 2:1 yesterday. And he lost to snute at IPL5...yes....snute.

And he lost to snute at IPL5...yes....snute. Right now his ZvZ is pretty shabby. His lategame engagements are embarrassing at times. If you look at his pre-season 5 ZvZ record, it's pretty incredible. Soulkey is a very defensive ZvZ player who prepared only for Life in the Ro16. During GSL Season 5 Life was uncharacteristically reluctant to go for hatch-first builds in ZvZ. He's beaten HyuN, lost to HyuN other times. Which tournament was that? HyuN is a top-class ZvZ player as well. He lost to viOlet, who lost to Sniper, who lost to Life. But yeah those viOlet games were just bad on Life's part. No excuses there. Leenock is sick good, man! The Life vs Sniper games were pretty awesome, that's all I'll say here lol. Snute is a very underrated ZvZ player (it's the matchup that carried him through wcs lol) but Life had that series won before throwing it. Pretty disappointing from Life. Anyway if you go to Life's TLPD and move the end date back to October 1, his ZvZ is at 75%, which is incredible. I'm not arguing that it was never his worst matchup, but the statement that it was always his worst is simply false, as it was the matchup that brought him to prominency. Right now it's at about 70%. He is going through something of a ZvZ slump but he is still one of the better ZvZ players. It's certainly not his most comfortable matchup at the moment. Also @TommyP life is at the ST house now because of winter break, haha.

Well as long as we're talking about players in their prime DRG's ZvZ before july was 82% Nestea's ZvZ before 2012 is 92% So whatever, makes no sense to call out stats in that way. I'm calling life on his flimsy ZvZ. Soulkey said life's stye is fairly easy to figure out, and I agree with that. Life does a lot of early game aggression with a slower transition to tech and much lower economy. Against a player like DRG, he's going to have a hard time, as DRG is the most mechanically gifted of all the zergs right now, hands down.

RIP Nestea's zvz I agree that Life has lost some of the unpredictability that is a big factor in his games being so fun to watch. Anyway, I don't want to have this argument in a fanclub I didn't mean to invade or anything. I think we can both agree that we'll be seeing some fun matches tonight! edit: They've never played each other! For real?

Sorry, I should have said June http://www.teamliquid.net/tlpd/details.php?section=sc2-korean&type=players&id=2627&part=games&vs=Z&league=any&map=any&from_year=2011&from_month=5&from_day=17&to_year=2012&to_month=6&to_day=1&action=Update 82% But with respects to you and life, I've changed "has always been" to "is currently." Thank you for that fix.
