It´s not like CJ were a bunch of scrubs. They took out Woongjin 4:1 and against EG-TL they had a harder time. There´s quite a lot of matches to look forward to, but I guess being negative is more fun somehow. That's what I was thinking. I mean this was a lot closer than people are making it out to be. I'm sure even CJ was getting pretty worried after going down quick 2-0. JYP playing clutch like he did when he played for Slayers-EG and Taeja got a chance in the ace match. This was very close and could've gone EG's way and the tone of this whole thread would be completely different.

But once they put one or two foreigners in the lineup, it is very hard to win before ACE match.

Honestly, I would prefer if they strugle all season with Stephano, HuK, ThorZain and Idra playing on every week, than if EG-TL win this thing using all-Korean players for each match. Foreigners FTW!

Why put foreigners in when they are clearly inferior to KeSPA players? It's not fair to JD, Taeja, Hero, JYP etc. Putting in HuK or Thorzain is basically donating a map to the opponents.

Why would any team play its less exposed or less achieving line up instead of just playing its A-team every game? To develop talent and diversify potential. Same for any other team in any sports. Look at KT's persistence in trusting its zerg line up even though it consistently pulls poor results, and in the end they always come through for KT in clutch situations because of that trust. Players perform better knowing that the team is truly working together.

I watch pro starcraft to enjoy clutch and gosu plays, I don't give a damn who's the players. Since koreans play better than foreigners, i'll take korean line up all day. KOREANS FTW ! Especially the Dong.

Why is everyone hating on foreigners? Koreans did jack shi vs Kt rolster And half of the koreans did jack shi vs CJ. Everyone in this team, just need time

Are you basing that on Thorzain's game? Because he clearly didn't prepare for and it never crossed his mind that a big run by would happen considering the way he played.
