You led your team to victory in their first match. Please tell us how you feel.
I was worried since I had to play in the ace match going into our first series, but I'm glad about the good results. Along with my new uniform, I will take on this league with a new mindset. I feel great about starting off well.
You lost the fourth set, which you played against INnoVation.
Although INnoVation did play well, I feel that I lost because I didn't check that he was going for a triple-CC build; the reason that I lost was because I didn't scout his strategy.
You must have felt pressured when you were sent out for the ace match after you dropped the fourth set.
I was chosen to play in the last set in advance. I was worried after I lost the fourth set, but I kept up my mental composure by telling myself that I had lost not because of skill but because of a build order disadvantage, which allowed me to play a good match.
There have been various changes within your team. How is the atmosphere there?
There are a lot of players who lived here while Coach BoxeR was still an active player, so there weren't any large changes when he was appointed as coach. Our team atmoshpere has been really good lately, and because all of us are working hard, I think we will be able to achieve good results. There was a lot of turmoil when BeSt-hyung was made captain, but I think that that was a good thing because of the lively atmosphere that it created.
Do you have confidence in your performance for this season?
The most important league for someone who belongs to SK Telecom is Proleague. I think that because our team is the one that practices the most, we'll be able to do well. However, I think that what will be most important is how quickly we will be able to adapt once Heart of the Swarm is released.
Do you have any goals for this Proleague?
Because this season is one year long, I think I'll have to aim for at least 30 wins. Since Heart of the Swarm is going to be released, I'm setting a moderate goal for now.
Which teams are you most wary of?
Because EG-TL is a foreign team, I don't know much about them, so we'll have to stay on guard against them. STX SouL, the team we faced today, is also a worrisome opponent. Those two teams will be the most uncomfortable ones to face.
