I don't think he did though
holy shit GJ hero, I didn't think he could do it but he proved me wrong. lol I should quote all your posts saying Hero had no chance. Trust me, I was with you there and I wasn't even going to bother watching these games but hey I will certainly take this. Hero too sexy.
I like to think I reverse cursed him by saying he had no chance

HerO is the most creative Protoss player I've ever seen, he played to that strength to beat a player that's beaten him time and time again with superior mechanics.
Just goes to show why this game is so fucking incredible.

You do know he just won a major tournament a week ago riiiggghhht? Right.
Your point? He's out of this tournament. Last time I checked this one is pretty major.

Didn't Stephano fall for the same trick in Lone Star too?
I did not have time to watch LSC, but he won all his maps against p, so probably not.

And this is why players don't throw games. Nothing is ever set in stone.
Those conspiracy theorists were pretty sad.

If you have to win every sc2 tournament to be good then every single sc2 player now and forever sucks and will suck.

HerO vs Stephano - Game Three - Antiga
HerO opened with some light warp prism pressure, trying to transition into an immortal expansion after. However, Stephano went for his patented 12 minute roach-max strategy, forcing HerO to turtle a bit before taking his expansion. All the while Stephano teched up on three bases, seemingly not interested in taking a fourth or going hive, instead looking to take a fight at the lair phase. In the move that would decide the game, HerO researched hallucination late to add two false-colossi to his army, which Stephano bit at completely by researching neural parasite and adding several corruptors. The wasted resources did not help when HerO came knocknig with stalkers, immortals, and archons, breaking through Stephano's defenses and taking the series.
