Should I just start shield lvl 1 and auto her?
AP Janna is not good at all, because she needs lvl 7 to one-shot the backline. Before that, you need autos to last hit a lot of minions... and LB will easily punish you for that.
At least play Morgana if you want to play the shove game.

If you just want to beat LeBlanc, go Galio, build magic resist, give zero fks. (Edit: Ah I assume that's based on free week choices though, nevermind)
|
Donno if he actually owns Janna or not, but Janna is 1300 IP, same as Morgana, so....
But yea, Galio is probably the best counter against LeBlanc. Alternatively, you can try Mordekaiser, Morgana (as mentioned), and Sion.
Personally, I wouldn't even mind playing Karthus or Cassiopeia against LB right now. I feel that LB is that bad.

Winning isn't the big issue, the skill level between the players and the champs I know how to play is large enough I can win with Annie vs. LB out of pure outplaying. I just thought it would be an interesting experiment in putting theorycraft into practice. Guess I didn't anticipate how big janna's small aa range would play though

Jarvan might actually be one of the single most satisfying champions I've ever played.
It might just be because I'm at like 1200 elo, but every teamfight just becomes E > Q > Ult > W the AD Carry and laugh as they explode.
It also probably helps that I build ArP on Jarvan with ArP Runes/Masteries, but still. SO FUN.

you should try Olaf if you like to explode AD carries. ghost/shurelias + ult make the ad cry.

MVP's support Zyra at level 9 just blew up a level 12 Zilean's entire health bar. WTF.
|
Best laners against LB happen to be atypical mids like Gangplank or Yorick.

With Olaf you have to do that whole pesky running thing.
Jarvan is just like OH HEY AD CARRY SUP?

Can someone give me a rough description as to how Lux support works? I want to try it, but am slightly confused. What to max, how to play, what to buy, etc...

Lux support = Hit Light Bindings, kill enemy.

I would concur with this, 1v1 lvl 8 support jarvan with no damage items vs enemy ad carry, jarvan wins lol

you really need to be running a hard kill lane with support lux or you are wasting your time because her utility falls off very fast the later the game goes. for items you do the same support build that everyone does

Which is why it's so sweet to play Graves, Corki or Ezrael.
"Oh Jarvan ulti? Should I escape using an ability, or simply use flash?"
Shooting Jarvan in his face while he is inside his own ulti, so much fun.
|
Graves Corki Ezreal Tristana Cait can all jump out of his ult, then you have Vayne and Draven who you can shoot jarvan out of his own ult with.
Basicly if ur not Ashe MF Twitch Sivir or Varus you are fine.
My personal favorite tho is being urgot and swapping whatever teammate is being an ass into jarvans ult.

Is there any reason to go lux support over zyra these days? It seems that zyra does pretty much exactly what lux does, save shields, only better.
|
How do you guys skill Zyra support? I usually max E first for obvious reasons and then W for CDR, Q last, though I'm not sure if that is optimal.
