RAHWAW IT IS SKILL BASED TOP 16 IN VOTES GO TO BRACKET TO PLAY FOR SPOT. If they're the best they'll win the bracket! Can a mod please put this in a header or something?

Illusion better than Sen, Idra, Major, etc.? If Illusion is the best he'll win his game in the 16 player tournament, so there's very little popularity involved.

Scarlett and Illusion should be going. lol Complain about popularity, then pick two players under what system? Scarlett you could justify as #1 WCS NA... how do you justify Illusion? If you go with ELO you end up with Sen and Major... Personally I voted Idra/Sen but honestly it doesn't matter, top 16 get to go anyway. Anyone who is seriously a top 2 candidate in NA will get put in the top 16 anyway, so it's not a big deal at all.

NA/SA/SEA: Sen/Killer I don't understand how Killer doesn't have at least a reasonable amount of votes, he's actually pretty solid and just won the SA WCS. Like, I'm a huge idra fan and all, but I still think he's far superior to him as well as huk at this point.

KiLLeR has been the most consistent player in the Americas, going to pretty much every IEM event and doing well in them (3rd at IEM NY was his best) and winning his WCS tournaments without dropping a set.

Why ridicule this idea? Obviously you just make the cut at some reasonable point (e.g. 50 or 64) of the TLDP. The only thing IPL's system does "better" is to get rid of unpopular players (and open the door for voting manipulation). Lucifron and VortiX would have very low chances to get in, if it wasn't for last weekend.
