as for me, why no Flash!! =D Because people just like to bitch. You could have one of the most comprehensive invite systems ever and people would still find a way to complain because a certain player wasn't invited (see NASL invites).

They've been doing better in WCS Korea, but it's based on ProLeague ranking.

No Kespa Terrans? I'm excited about Effort and Jaedong, but pretty disappointed nonetheless. How can BW be represented without a single Terran....

That's it. No one's ever gonna win GSL anymore. It belongs to Jaedong. Don't even bother to show the trophies, just send them straight to Jaedong's mansion. You might wanna ask him which mansion before he wins though.

wohooooo, harsh for the one that just missed out but still! cant wait to see them!!

are you crazy? Sun carried SKT to the playoffs.

Jaedong's hard work finally pays off. I hope he's gonna get far in sc2.

i think bisu should have gotten a seed for screaming pleasure.

Obviously Jaedong is wildly more popular, and this is going to make this season the greatest ever, but I feel bad for Roro.
Bison deserves his spot. He has been the best player in Proleague, is OSL (1-0 over MKP), and was the second best placing KeSPA player during WCS Korea.
Isn't the OP clear about the points allocation? Ofc KeSPA is gonna use its own tournament to decide ranking, not Blizzard ones.
Though Jaedong's win rate is not very good, but proleague has always been ranking players by most wins first.

Oh, I guess the popularity thing still applies, if not as much.

Second this, also bisu is famous for not getting out of prelims, he really needs it.

im sure some will qualify. im hoping fantasy and reality. Flash im not too sure about yet

Sun was pretty much a no-brainer choice; while JD is a bit more debatable, you have to remember JD is basically second best, if not the best, PL ace - which is a pretty big deal.
|
Looking forward to see how they stack up against the players in the GSL, I can still see them struggling though. And why the fuck is RorO not code s...

Definitely props to these players, but I would have liked to see them come up through the qualifiers too. For instance, some of their differentials aren't the best, but because it's PL they get a high volume of games because they're trusted players. So they get more victories that way. But watching Jaedong play the role of ace again has been a treat.

Not really, the system actually is pretty flawed. If you look at the earlier wins you'll see the games were awful, whereas later games have a much higher level of play and mean much more. Plus it doesn't accommodate WCS and such.
It's not terrible, but there definitely are valid complaints with it. Would've been cool if they ran something similar to one of the old GOM tournaments; 64 or 128 players (All of Code S + best Kespa players + Code A/Foreign invite/etc.), would've been cool to watch. I'm probably asking for too much, but you have to admit that would be awesome to see.

jaedong thinks zerg has the most potential in sc2, i can't wait to see what he's going to do.
