btw this bracket look pretty terran heavy

Roro getting seeded into Code A doesn't matter. He'll be code S no doubt about it.

rofl. 12 terrans in code S not enough? 3 more then toss in code S and 5 more then zerg has in code S. Don't spout out stupidity please thank you.

Its obvious in this thread who actually realizes that WCS is a lot more prestigious and competitive that than Proleague.

Yes, not anymore, yes, no, yes.

Looks like a pretty reasonable lineup here; good luck to the KeSPA players!

Code S so far is:

Protoss (9):
Seed, MC, Naniwa, Squirtle, JYP, Genius, Parting, Mana, Sun

Terran (12):
Taeja, Byun, MVP, Marineking, heart, MMA, Yoda, Polt, Bomber, Gumiho, Happy, Supernova

Zerg (7):
Symbol, DRG, Nestea, Leenok, Curious, Sniper, Jaedong

Plus we still have 4 more players coming from Up and Downs:

Group C: Aug 29th
(Z)ST_SuHoSin (formerly ZeNEX_Line)
(T)FnaticRC aLive
(T)MaruPrime
(P)Liquid`HerO
(Z)TSL_Shine

Group E: Aug 31st
(Z)AZUBU.viOLet
(P)FnaticRC Oz
(T)SlayerS_Ryung
(Z)ST_Life
(T)Quantic.TheStC[/QUOTE]

Assuming Hero (P) and Alive (T) advance from Group C plus TheStC (T) and Violet (Z) from group E, that would be total of

10 Protoss
14 Terran
8 Zerg

The bottom line? Bringing in a Protoss and Zerg from Kespa invites was smart in terms of racial distribution for next season of code S. As for the actual players, I still think Roro would have been smarter to invite over JD. A better story would have developed had JD fought his way through Code A or next season Up and Downs to achieve Code S.

All discussion about Jaedong vs Roro aside, I think it's pretty incredible that there's 2 Kespa players and 2 foreigners in Code S. Had anyone told me that last year I would've laughed.

No T seeds. Is there something special about GOM Terrans?

Jaedong winning the GSL might be the best thing that could happen for SC2 in Korea. The current base of eSF / Gom pros aren't appealing enough to holdout BW fans so having a giant (or Tyrant) from BW winning a major SC2 tournament would definetly help bring over more fans.

grats to the players who received seed although I feel like the point system is really weird considering some players are like 10-9 or something whereas others who didnt get seeds were like 8-3

Even as a Team 8 fan, I second everyone else who is questioning Jaedong over someone like RorO or even Trap. As good as he has been, there are still a few out there that have been showing better performances.

I'm glad that GOM gave out seeds to Kespa players. Will surely attract a lot of attention to this GSL season and will allow us to see how Kespa players do in GSL. Can't wait and hope Jaedong makes it far.
