Hell, Naniwa was originally given a Code A seed, and then another, and maybe a third? I forget but I remember he went 0-10 in GSL before getting his code S seed and going on a major hotstreak. Same with HuK, while 3 foriegners got owned when they gave out that batch of Code A seeds HuK persevered and eventually made it to code S. Same with Thorzain, he won a few games in code S, a few games in Code A, and would have been in the up downs if he wasn't sick. Same with MaNa who just made it through to Code S. Even if many, many foreigners had to take some brutal losses to get to where we are now it's worth it for these stories. The better players win and the worse players lose and eventually the deserving few make it as we've seen with the above examples. Also foreigners in GSL make it more interesting. I know for a fact that I'm not alone on this one when I say that the most exciting times I have ever had while watching GSL were probably Liquid`Jinro's two Ro4 runs and when Liquid`HuK was in GSL (that being said, I guess those players both qualified for GSL). I stayed up for every single one of those matches and never regretted a second of it.

Roro is code S quality for sure though so i definitely think he will make code S this season easily. well after seeing stats you see he did 2nd best ^^

Honestly, since the kespa players started sc2, Flash has not impressed me Flash was at least playing well the first few months, at the WCS Korea Quals he took games off of Code A players. I haven't seen any of his play recently though, but meh. Anywho, agreed, about Jaedong =).

Yes, half of Code S are terrans (only look at this year Season 1 - 15, Season 2 - 15, Season 3 - 13, Season 4 - 12 (4 can join via Up and Down matches). In absolutely all GSL seasons the number of terrans is the highest.

The Code A seeds have been notably inconsistent in numbers with sometimes 4, 2, 1 or 0 in some seasons. It simply means for the qualifiers there will be less groups. http://wiki.teamliquid.net/starcraft2/2012_Global_StarCraft_II_League_Season_4/Code_A For this season we have: 16 from U/D 4 Kespa Seeds 1 from Esports Weekly 8 will drop from Code S for the Ro48 Making for a grand total of 29 / 48 spots already taken. Meaning 19 qualifier groups? Last season we had 21...why do I feel like I've miscalculated?

Some times the epic matches are the first games. IMO, I have to praise GOMTV for making the first games of each match free (gives people a good chance to taste the GSL).
