Jinro, you've probably know about the times on eg SotG where Nony, Incontrol, and Day9 talked about progamers from the olden days. These names means nothing to me because I never watched BW, and was never a part of that community. I jumped on when SC2 came out. In 10+ years, there'll be guys sitting with friends and remembering YOUR awesome game on Scrap Station in the GSL against MC, and I'll be one of those guys. It was fucking magic, and I thank you for the great games.

Congratulations on making it all the way, to actually get a taste of what you dreamt of and worked for. Not many are able to. Thank you for many a great moment and the best of luck from here on out. To me, you'll always be the weirdly creative Frozen Arbiter who had a deep understanding of RTS game fundamentals and translated that into a gigantic lead over most players in the early days of SC2. Just as you yourself seem to be suggesting: You might have been able to stay on top if you had the childish excitement to practise like a Korean (and I don't just mean the amount of hours, but the actual motivation to put 100% into the practise and the analzysis of games), but you don't so you won't. And for that I want to congratulate you on making the oh so hard decision of being true to yourself and go for new motivations in life, even though it must feel like leaving a part of your life behind. Take care man! edit: spelling
