Since the last thread was derailed, I'll just set a few ground rules.
1.) This is only for lvl 60 characters who can run act3+ comfortably. 2.) This is not a thread to ask for advice on your gear or skill setup (use the individual class threads for that) 3.) If you have a lot of large images, put them in spoiler tags 4.) Please only post your gear
edit: if you want to embed an imgur album, just post the embed link and i'll take care of it

stats: http://i48.tinypic.com/28nvyg.png items: http://i45.tinypic.com/27gnb8o.png skill build: http://us.battle.net/d3/en/calculator/demon-hunter#aRPgTX!Yae!YaYYZZ Found nats boots myself a while ago and decided to go for the set as i had a good amount saved up already and haven't regretted it. I was able to drop preparation from my skill build and the bat really helps cos i like to use both ball lightning and cluster bombs. Tactical advantage is great cos i'm able to use ss frequently just for moving around etc and it obviously helps in fights. Positioning with cluster bombs is easier with the movement speed aswell. Broke 100k dps mark without sharshooter 3 days ago, picture is with scoundrel so i have 102k dps without followers. I'm swapping around spray of teeth and devouring arrow alot atm but now it's at spray of teeth.

It seems like end-game for a DH always ends up in Nat's set. Without it, you aren't end-game.

I beg to differ However, I have to say that if you aren't going for MF or anything else except pure DPS, 2-3 piece nat's set seems the best choice. 4 piece gives you incredible survivability to make up for any lack of vit/resists.

gear
65k DPS, 330+ all resist, 23.8k HP. ~90% MF without follower, full nats set farming act 3 comfortably. Looking to upgrade weapons soon
left click hungering arrow spray of teeth right click cluster arrow cluster bombs
SS lingering fog caltrops with 2 sec stun bat companion preparation back up plan

Why do so few people use Inna's Belt + Pants combo on top of the nat set? Nice amor, all res, ms, and CC, plus 130 dex bonus! Is that not considered as end game?

inna's belt & pants can't give enough all resist, and does not give MF. Magic find is really important for you to actually be able to farm efficiently - I'm trying to aim for 100% base with 100k DPS w/o SS but its becoming pretty hard to keep upgrading =( sometimes the best items just dont seem to exist hahaha

There are a lot of factors you have to consider. Assuming you are prioritizing DPS and forgetting about MF, a high/perfect roll will probably out DPS 2 rares, but you give up on A LOT of other possible stats. If you look at the numbers:
Let's compare the numbers:
ilvl 63 rare belt can have the following max stats:
6 stat roll slots: 1.) 100 dex + 100 vit 2.) 100 dex 3.) +80 all resist
4.) 5.) 6.) can be any combination of the following popular stats: 12% life, 20% MF, +5.1% chance to freeze, Any specific elemental resistance up to 60, +265 armor, +100 vit etc
Inna's belt has: 1.) +6% holy damage (this is the big draw for the set, it boosts your overall damage by increasing your base weapon damage before modifiers) 2.) +60 all resist 3.) +215 armor 4.) -10% cc duration 5.) + RANDOM magic stat (lets assume you want the best one for dps + surivability = 100 vit + 100 dex) Set Bonus: 130 dex / 2 = 65 dex
so comparing the two:
rare vs inna's belt 1.) 200 dex vs 165 dex 2.) 0% vs 6% boost to overall damage 3.) +80 vs +60 all resist 4.) 0 vs -10% cc duration (w/e not that big of a deal) 5.) +265 armor vs +215 armor 6.) random desired stat on rare pants vs nothing 7.) random desired stat on rare pants vs nothing 8.) random desired stat on rare pants vs nothing
I won't compare the pants, but the same thing applies (You lose out on extra dex + other random stat rolls for 6% IAS, 7% movespeed, and 1% crit chance).
My personal opinion is, the set gives the highest possible character sheet dps (which is not the same as effective dps), but you lose out on a lot of other utility and survivability stats. To me, its not worth it, but it may be for those trying to get 'Athene' level dps stats.

I sold my top tier items since u can still sell gold for real money in my country :D but I think my build can still be useful It consists of high crit damage and overall high damage from elemental sword + killing elites before shadow power or smoke screen run out no pesky move speed no sissy kiting, no sissy running away, just explode stuff away how diablo should be I use hatred regen on quiver, companion and weapon and max discipline on armor and quiver, I run shadow power or smoke screen all the time the enemy is hitting me I dont run away, I have almost no all resist (had 300 when I sold my gear) http://us.battle.net/d3/en/calculator/demon-hunter#bRXTgV!Yce!aZZZYb edit: just something to add 2h crossbow slowest possible ....

Sup doods, this is my mad scientist wizard build
http://us.battle.net/d3/en/calculator/wizard#VjmSXO!agf!aacZac
I went for heavy survival with decent damage and not bad life regeneration, all to prepare for PvP Meanwhile, I own everything in archon form and using the critical mass tornados to reset the cooldown of archon + diamond skin (when not in archon mode)
Here are my stats in archon mode: http://imgur.com/uicDd
And here are my stats + gear in standard mode http://imgur.com/a/QtnqO#13
I do not use glass cannon
Now im looking for better belt/pants/shoulder with 300 life regeneration on each on them to try to hit 2000 life regen per second which is gonna be awesome for PvP
