DeAndre $10M/yr, Chandler $13M/yr, Bynum $15M/yr, Horford $12M/yr, Z-Bo $16M/yr, Marc $14M/yr, Bogut $13M/yr, Lee $15M/yr, Bosh $20M/yr, etc. Is Pau getting paid $19M/yr
Word is, he took a few million under his asking price to entice Ray Allen to stay. Jersey sales, and ticket sales alone I'd say Garnett is near a max player, thats without factoring in the fact he was a top 5 defensive player last season.

Ray Allen won't stay if he knows he has a shot at the ring with Miami that's how I see it. Miami already two years back to back in the finals, pretty hard decision. Just like Lebron, Wade and Bosh all took pay cuts to get a ring. Pretty sure Allen will make the trade to Miami. I just hope Miami figures something out with the salary cap cause from the looks of it, we're going to be over our salary cap for sure.

So? I was under the impression that modern medicine and diets have allowed players to continue their stellar performances long after their "prime" was considered over. The fact that Nash is 38 and about to sign for more money than Garnett just did leads me to believe this is true.

Except Miami can offer a max of like 3.2m, where Boston can now offer upwards to 8m a year for multiple years? I don't know, if I could double my paycheck and stay on a contender, I probably would, even if they did try to trade my earlier in this year.

but garnett and nash play a different style of game. i mean you got a big physical guy and pg. i think the deal is pretty good, 13m a year is solid for garnett and for the celtics. garnett's been pretty good with regards to injuries so i'm not super concerned about it, but you kinda have to be at the age and that position.

So I'm gonna assume Indy will be the 2nd or 3rd best team in the East next year, epecially if they somehow sign Steve Nash. Boston is currently the clear #2/#3 at the moment. Knicks are irrelevant. But, but, but Knicks get LIN back next season Ace. What are you trying to say ^^? (Remember how ppl on here PM'd BlueRoyal about shit he wrote 2 years ago during Linsanity if you answer llulz)

Ray Allen is a saboteur sent by KG to destroy Miami!
God, that FA list...you could really build something good out of that. I'm so excited.

The Decision. Finallly. (edit) Maybe. I just saw that it was reported by Chris Broussard. Stay tuned folks.

The Nets basically have infinity dollars and roster spots to fill out the roster. Deron Williams is really really good. And while there's a lot of things Dwight could do better, he's the best center in the league. But that's about $36 million tied up immediately. They need to be very disciplined when signing up the rest of the players on the team. If I were Boston or Miami, I wouldn't freak out but it'd be pretty sweet to watch.

Nets talking about picking up Joe Johnson too. They would instantly be fucked for the next 4 years even with Howard + Williams.

The article I read assumes that NJ would be giving up on acquiring D12 if they get JJ. I assume it's a backup deal for in case they're unable to get D12.

I still wouldn't do it. Joe Johnson is really, really bad for that contract.
