What do you think? Keep in mind this is a work in progress, going to put something behind it.
I think it needs more marines.
UPDATE: Day 3 'better' pic standing up.

Still cool, you draw it yourself? is there any other kind of tattoo? @OP as long as you like it its cool. For only doing it for 2 years, i think you said, it looks really good. Also I heard it's supposed to be really hard to tattoo yourself? Wouldn't know though, I'm not any kind of artist.

When i did this i wasnt thinking about pain i was more focused on doing a good job to something permanent to my 'temple'. Tattoos don't hurt dependant on location...quad muscle is meaty and easy to do yourself. I did this in around 1 hour, approx 6 inches/5 inches. If i had to guess, this would be around my 70th tattoo.

I guess you could just tattoo toss and zerg logos on there too if you switch races. My favorite race is Terran, I play Zerg. I'm gonna tattoo Terran not Zerg. Your favorite race is not always the same you play, terran is too hard to play with 200ms ping and I'm too competitive to just accept it so I play other race.

The triangle looks a bit flat, it could be the pic but it looks like not enough of a grey scale just black or skin. I would work a grey wash from the black towards the area where light would be hitting it. Hope you keep working at it. Did you go through an apprenticeship? Or is this all self taught? Good luck and I hope you continue to work on your art!!

Could just be the picture In the OP i mentioned my leg is bent (as if i am sitting), it is actually raised on a bench so the skin is stretched. Also this pic was taken with a cell phone, something i had handy when i did the piece. Not good quality. Good luck and I hope you continue to work on your art!! I did go through an apprenticeship, and i was ordained 'ready' a year ago, but i felt ready around 4 months ago. I didnt want greywash with this tattoo (shading as it was put), still debating a vintage look, cracked, what to put behind it etc. I have two weeks until my leg completely heals before i can go back to it again. Ty for the support. Im charging my 1080p camera now for a good quality pic so there will be more better quality. I do offrace but its very unlikely i will race switch. Thanks for the support. Viva la space hicks.
